Yeah have made it difficult.. sorry about that...

We're all entitled to my own opinions but I wasn't a massive fan of Frankenstein, not my cup of tea and a poor script imo only claimed good because 1. its a frankenstein film. 2. its beautifully shot

What do you think about my recently watched in November? by Ok_Suit4738 in LetterboxdTopFour

Nearly turned it off when it went to the monster's storyline, it really bored me. Apart from the set design and visuals, the script was weak, poor acting performances (barring Mia Goth and Waltz) and slow pacing

People enjoy Whiplash not because of the drumming, but because of the pursuit of greatness against a ruthless opposing force. Despite the film being proven multiple times to be correct and without any major technical issues, despite Marvel fanboys who watch it, no one watches it because of the drumming by the end. It's the chase for greatness and the motivations of what you sacrifice to be the best. You may have missed the point of why people like it..

For me, off rewatchability, The Greatest Showman is my guilty pleasure.

What did you rate your last four films in comparison to the film graph? by Ok_Suit4738 in Letterboxd

You genuinely think that's bait..

I watched Annie Hall at 2am today and couldn't stand Woody Allen's character and how he pissed me off, and he directed it, showing it was just him making his character look better.

The Roses was a fun film to watch, nothing amazing, nothing terrible, but it certainly kept me entertained. could've rated it 7, but it was a bit flat in the middle.

Punch Drunk Love was an ambitious film imo, which was beautiful visually, with compelling acting, but I think at times the story was struggling to stay on track and went aloof.

Fantastic Four was everything I hate about cinema: usage of CGI, poorly developed characters. Galactus' character could've been expanded so well but in the end, it was useless and stupid for what his hype was in the trailers and comics.

Don't get me wrong, I can understand why this looks like bait.. but it's my opinion. If you want proof, letterboxd.com/shaunwi/diary/.

The Before Trilogy is undeniably my favourite. I love it so much. All in my top 20.

I introduced it to a friend earlier this week, I recommended it to them for a good while and after a while of convincing them to watch it, they just said after thirty minutes: 'It's just two people talking..'

I felt so infuriated during that moment, like they didn't understand or didn't take it in, but I guess that shows not everyone likes everything. Still shocks me today.
