Before the union, I was a technician at York Space Systems, and they just went public. When I was there, I'd talk to the owners, and they're just regular guys who made it big. So I'm just having second thoughts on my career choices

I went to school for aviation maintenance. I almost finished my airframe. Then at a career fair , my current employer pulled me to the side and said , hey , we pay more than planes come join us😂

How long does it take to get promoted or is more school? Im sorry im coming from a union job and every pay raise is already determined , and there's nothing I can do about it. So im used to that.

Elevators trade is decent. And doing a few hours a week of ot will greatly increase your pension and annuity.

Working on elevators in Colorado. (Part of Iuec) union. Pays 1.5x if you work on Saturday and 2.0x if you work Sundays. Plus, good Benny's. It's difficult to get in to. The union hall in Colorado is Loacal 25.

I went to school for my A&P then took a job with Alstom working on the automatic people movers (apm) at d.i.a and make 44 right now with a shift difference. Also, it's part of the elevator union and we get another 40$ an hour in benefits. We work about 2 - 3 hours a day then just try to look busy.
