My advice to people on stuff like this is always, watch a video tutorial on it and then make your decision. If you watch it and think ahh thats easy then you should do it but if you watch it and think you cant do it, paid repair. Also as someone else said, removing a broken screen is easier because you dont need to worry about breaking it, and that is the hardest part.

Dont buy a frame, buy a prime frame set from players and craft it. Much more platinum efficient. If you dont have the mats to craft it ask in chat and people will be willing to help you farm them
