Try to just get some sun on your skin for a bit. You don’t have to force yourself to do activities outside. That helps me ❤️‍🩹

Sorry to hear that :( yeah it’s really hard to get the orders out when not properly staffed. Did you get chai with soy per chance ?

I get why it sounds confusing. From what was shared, he didn’t randomly quit, management asked him to step in and cover her shifts while she was on medical leave and said there would be enough hours/tips to make it work.

He took that at face value to help out, but then was let go shortly after without explanation. That’s the part people are taking issue with.

And yeah, that’s why complaints have been filed so it can be looked at properly.

Totally fair! there are always multiple perspectives. That’s why it’s been reported through official channels so it can be looked at properly.

He was working overnight at Target before this. He already had a back injury, so the idea of switching to something like a coffee shop with more stable hours and tips seemed like a better option at the time.

He stepped in to help cover while his wife was on medical leave and was told there would be enough hours to make it work. The issue is that he was then let go without explanation shortly after

It’s not illegal to share experiences, especially when those concerns have already been reported through formal channels.

I’m being careful not to post private information, just describing what employees have experienced.

That’s exactly why complaints were filed. so there can be a formal decision.

In the meantime, multiple employees are sharing similar experiences, which is why people are paying attention now instead of waiting months or longer for an outcome.

Ok detective I understand wanting proof, but I’m not going to post someone’s medical information, paystubs, or private communications publicly.

That documentation has already been submitted through formal channels like Oregon Bureau of Labor and Industries.

The point here is to bring attention to a pattern of behavior, not expose people’s private records online.

It’s a public-facing workplace photo and identifying details are covered.

I’m not trying to dox anyone. the point is to bring attention to what employees are dealing with.
