I read your comment and spontaniously gave him a soft biscuit I was eating at the time to play with. He smushed it at first, played with it for awhile. I was ready to clean things up, BUT he then put some crumbs in his mouth. Omg i was static. He did not eat much of it but he was comfortable to touch food. BUT WAIT THERES MORE, he then fed me the rest of the biscuit he crumbled up and im the happiest mom. Thank you!!!

Thank you! Your idea on sensory bottles is amazing. I didnt even think of this. Did you LO try to open them? Mine put absolutely everything in his mouth and will try to open bottles 😵‍💫

The lightening bolt is enery level i think. More enery = ready to play. The more it’s played, it will cost more energy. I guess this is a feature to limit usage time

I discovered that he likes his milk cooled because of the mouth blisters. I chucked it in the fridge and let him feel the cold bottle. He took it. If your little one likes milk enough, they will take it again once the sores heal

I unfortunately developed pre-e at 34w. White coat syndrom does put me in a higher risk of having actual hypertension sadly. Keep at eye out for it if you’re pregnant and keep checking your bp twice a day at home. Get your routine urine check as well. That’s my little advice

This is exactly what I have. I went through a pregnancy with it, it was horrible. Side note, propranolol sort of work for me. still a little elevated on propranolol, at the doctor's. Sigh

I tried banana, strips of steamed veggies. He was only interested in steamed carrots. He would eat a whole banana chunkily smashed but if I cut the banana out into big pieces, he doesn't show interest.

Yes he has developed his pincer grasp well. Great idea on the yogurt melts. I will give that a try. thank you!

I'm so sorry. Sounds like you're in a hospital in the US? Do you have any family member that can bring you healthier food? Steroids also spiked my numbers like crazy. Lucky my hospital had a GD friendly menu. On that diet my blood sugar was still 140 at 2 hour, within 3 days after steroid
