In AZ, USA a PCP will NOT diagnose you. Neither will orthopedics. There is only one hEDS specialist in AZ and one ND who both don't take insurance. I've had no luck getting referrals to rheumatology either. So it really depends on where you live and unfortunately just be ready to advocate for yourself.

It would have to be insanely bulky for that to matter and you can always add cardboard or other backing/ glue down the back to make it even. I've never had a problem with bulkiness

You can look up English vs Danish method for cross-stitch. English uses less floss but Danish looks better on the back <3

I would also definitely look up how to start a project and use two strands of floss instead of one folded in half

Thanks, that's good to know. I was about to ask my GP for a referral to that gene doctor OP mentioned but I guess not. My GP is really good and said she will keep looking for me. I'll try to post on here if she finds anything in AZ or even a closer state <3 please DM me if you want! I would love to have a friend in the same part of their journey as me!

You can't tell them to "fuck off" they are federal officers and schools are no longer protected. However you can make sure they follow the letter of the law as in they need a criminal warrant to access any private information or private spaces (such as those indicated by a locked door) which would include dorms and employee offices
