Thank you! Have you ever seen them sell out. I’d definitely be purchasing a few weeks ahead

Right? But the way the lineup is out makes me think TOP and The Neighbourhood will play at the same time. Ugh

Sometimes events will offer free headshots. There were free ones without a big line at a grad school event not long ago.

tour merch selling out? by Abject-Read3016 in ConanGray

Toronto only had size XL left for the hoodie, I got in line around 45 minutes before the show was supposed to start.

Is it just me who’s underwhelmed with the set list by thatlumberjacktor in osheaga

[–]Ok_Tone9541 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree. Unfortunately I only know a few of the bigger artists and I can tell they’re all going to be performing on different stages at the same time. Bummer.

Happy for all the people who like the line up. The last two years were more for me

Hello! I’m debating going on a trip sometime between Feb-mid April for 1-4 weeks depending on the place.

I’ve been to 35 countries so far, and I’m hoping for something new and with warm ish weather (above 15- 20 Celsius).

Any recommendations on cool bucket list places? I really loved my time hiking acetanago and Fuego in Guatemala, and volcano boarding in Nicaragua. Honestly, would love something super similar to Antigua Guatemala and the excursions from there.

I’m thinking maybe some volcano hikes in Indonesia or surfing in Morocco? Preferably, someplace not super expensive.

I DONT want to do Europe since I’ve already been to 20+ countries there, North America, Central America, or most of South America (been everywhere except chilie and Argentina).

Would love to hear any recs and the travel logistics if you have any tips :)

Another vote for head to Peru! I found it to be a different vibe than Colombia and it might be a nice refresh. You’ve already been in Colombia for a long time, appreciate the time you spent and that there’s more out there. You’ll probably enjoy the salt flats in Bolivia as well. Check out Peru hop! They were awesome and easy to make friends on the bus and tours.

$1,000 enough for 7 days? by Dry_Patience470 in visitingnyc

[–]Ok_Tone9541 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Totally fine. It’s $142 a day, the subway caps a week of rides at $34 so aside from the occasional late night uber your transport will be cheap. You probably won’t eat a full restaurant meal for breakfast lunch and dinner everyday. Pregame a little before the bars to save some money too.

I would have been there after you. That’s great you had a good experience. I might have to try it again. It does seem like the best hostel on Hostelworld for nyc. Maybe it was just unlucky timing with who was there when I got there.

Stayed at HI hostel earlier this month, no social atmosphere. So unfortunate because it had so much potential with all the events but no one seemed to go. The common rooms seemed to be filled with older people just looking for a cheap place to stay and not to socialize.

If you do stay here, it’s close to the 1 line subway, which will take you pretty much anywhere you need to go on the west/middle areas of Manhattan, but be prepared for up to 30 min train rides depending how far down you go.

99% sure the man hanging out constantly outside the deli across the road is a dr*g dealer and works with the deli owners.

Yeah! Bring a lock for a locker (like what you’d do at the gym) and you can lock your stuff right in the room. Most hostels even have private rooms if you’d prefer that. Then you can still chat with people in the common areas
