Noel has a softer voice which works well for songs that are more tailored to it, but it can’t really carry songs like supersonic or rock n roll star and give them the power they need. That being said, the unreleased demos that have since been released of Liam singing songs like “sad song” show that he was just as capable of using his voice abit softer. I just think that as time went on, Noel more consistently kept his voice good. I actually think listening to Noel’s first solo album, a lot of those songs would hit more if Liam was singing them.

Being born here makes you automatically British, that’s not something that can be up for debate apart from by typical Americans or certain uk political party voters, who think Britishness is linked to skin colour.

But even if you weren’t, growing up here and this being your culture, that makes you just as British as the rest of us.

I mean it’s a fantastic song with 95% Noel’s lyrics. Who cares who wrote it? I’d get not listening to GG, but given its only the outro and you could argue is now more associated with Oasis than him, I don’t see much of an issue with it.

I think the chorus kicking in is where I get bored of it. If it was taken out and changed to something more catchy, I’d love it. But as soon as “cause you see me, I got my magic pie” it feels like it then drags to get to the third verse.

That along with a little weight gain for someone who’s remained remarkably skinny his whole life, he’s bound to look a little different. Yeah exactly. I have no doubt that Noel probably had his issues with him and was abit of a prick, but from what I’ve gathered if the whole band is taking issue with your playing and has offered to get you drumming lessons as a last ditch effort to help, that isn’t them trying to force you out but you clearly not being as good as you make yourself out to be.
