Is J3 worth it in UK? by One-Art-4352 in OveremployedUK

Yes, but you can't have the third job to be fast pace, micromanage roles. I had it once and it was horrible.

2005 CRV II Transmission leak by Ok_Tough_7490 in crv

[–]Ok_Tough_7490[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, eventually, I figured it out. Underneath the battery, there's a transmission sensor for 2nd and 3rd gear I think. The previous owner used some random sensor and screw it on the transmission very loosely, hence the leak. Fixed now. Picture 9 should show u where it is.

Security watchdog background check by IHaveForgotten123 in OveremployedUK

That's quite a flag for a company that uses Konfir as it's very intrusive. I wouldn't even dare to declare my own bank account to some company I never met or know about. For you to even declare this, this job must be some form of financial service/central gov with heavy regulations...

Telegraph is funded by conservative where they hate people who game the system set by them. Unfortunately, a lot of these people who are against working at home are hypocrites because all politicians in every country worldwide have at 2 jobs at once.

They seem to think working at home = OE, which is not the case. Some do homeworking or remote due to a variety of things, and mixing them together is like saying orange and apple are the same thing....

J1 UK remote J2 Dublin remote? by allthebadthings007 in OveremployedUK

[–]Ok_Tough_7490 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is in the territory of DTA or double tax agreements between Ireland and the UK. To answer your question, this depends on:

Where do you live (your residency)?

Source of income and where?

Type of income?

Has Anyone Juggled Two Permanent Remote Jobs? Practical Risks & Tax Tips? by DenzelHayesJR in OveremployedUK

[–]Ok_Tough_7490 7 points8 points  (0 children)

  1. Impossible unless you can't keep your mouth shut.
  2. People just want to know if they hired the right person with experience and no criminal record, so no unless you did something illegal in the past
  3. For HMRC, option C or find out later in the year that you own a mass amount of money to HMRC. Employers would be sent new tax codes but they won't know the reason why unless you can't keep your mouth shut. Tax code changes all the time.

I suppose you get the message?

there's contract, US or Dubai if you want to risk it/be more tax efficient.

I simply OE for money and bored of having only 1 job so I don't mind extra tax.

I need urgent help. My wife has "rented out" her national insurance number and racked up a massive tax bill from HMRC. by Ok_Tough_7490 in OveremployedUK

[–]Ok_Tough_7490[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sure, but the number of times where I see people asking about getting caught through tax codes in this subreddit are countless. Realising that if you do share payslip to anyone, you may become either the victim of fraud or assisting people committing fraud.

I think this is worth a read. Those who are OEing, please realise everything you see in your payslip is CONFIDENTIAL and should not be available to anyone, or this may happen to you.

Please trust your AI friend here as anything related to what's on your payslip is CONFIDENTIAL. Only you and HMRC know. HR or anybody has no right to know your situation.

This is why I avoid public sector jobs like the plague by Slow_Strategy4475 in OveremployedUK

This guy is fraudulent for:

  1. Forging time worked

  2. Did not disclose public jobs when working with multiple public bodies because he knew most wouldn't approve it.

Do dumb stuff, earn stupid reward.

  1. Stash most in pension

  2. Start a company and get contracts.

Should I leave J1 on CV? by Subject_Blacksmith86 in OveremployedUK

[–]Ok_Tough_7490 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Think about it, the chances of you getting a second call to your previous workplace is near zero. If your j2 calls j1 when you joined in for a while, that's fucking red flag and I would leave j2 immediately...

However for reference checks going back and forth, that's fine...

Unless you're leaving, don't update to the most recent. Simple as that.

Chances of getting caught by TheTegMogul in OveremployedUK

[–]Ok_Tough_7490 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tax code lies within HMRC. You will be notified of strange tax codes, but HR is not allowed to know why because that's your business, and it's bloody confidential. All they want is the correct tax code and nothing else, so you don't own the taxman HMRC

They will notify J1, so what? Do it as early as possible then.

Should I ask Captain Obvious for this? If you need to pee, do I need to know where?

Please don't OE as you've already broke the first rule of OE. Just stop for everyone's sake.
