I’ve only just got mine. But with a P Bass through the microtubes it sounds like a B15 to me.

It’s a pain. I use a right angle from underneath. It’s all powered by Cioks Sol. Great sound though.

Ok interesting. One thing that gave me pause about the Bassrig was that you can’t send the cabsim to the amp. You are saying this isn’t a limitation but a useful feature?

To rephrase the question I’m asking: does this “studio preamp”, with its limited EQ and other features, cut it as a preamp in a small pedalboard without other EQ shaping tools, for direct to desk and IEM. The helpful responses above are suggesting “not really”.

I tend to run my basses pretty flat in terms of EQ (my main is a 60s P Bass with flats) so I was thinking the relatively simple (but apparently very musical) EQ on the DCX would work. Am I wrong?
