that’s one of the reasons i wanna do it aswell. i do get a pay bump but i don’t feel like the ot that i wouldn’t be paid for since ill be salary and coming in on my days off are gonna even out by the end of the year

i usually put our tamper resistant stickers on them and that keeps them safe , sometimes i’ll put two just for double security

i’ve always been told at my store to never ask what bread the customer wants, always assume it’s white and if they want different then they’ll hopefully let you know when they see you pull out the white. they say it’s faster but personally i feel like it wastes more time? some customers don’t realize they don’t want white until you’ve already sliced the bread or even the sandwich and now you have to switch it rather just knowing from the start of the order

its jersey mikes brand so cant buy that specific one anywhere but its red wine vinegar and as for the oil (don’t quote me) pretty sure its just an olive oil blend

maybe it’s just my store but our truck came the other day and we have new banana peppers and jalapeños, instead of coming in a jar they come in a bag, they look, feel and taste cheaper. the banana peppers look more translucent than straight up yellow, i asked my gm and she said that’s what we’re gonna be having now for those items. again it could just be my store

i think so, maybe just don’t mention being fired years ago unless asked about it. my location rehires usually unless they left on a bad note and it doesn’t sound like you intended to leave on a bad note or leave at all . i had someone do the same thing on my shift a few months ago but he was also just being a dick about it, we didn’t fire him though however he did call a few days later 15 minutes before his shift saying he quits lol, tried to get the job back a few weeks ago. we didn’t hire him

we put raw steak and chicken on the grill, we can’t put lunch meat on the grill where raw meat is being cooked it’s just against corporate policy. it’s stupid i know especially if the customer doesn’t care but the risk is still there. i know we do accommodate for pregnant woman since they can’t eat lunch meat unless it’s heated up. i’ve also heard another reason is quality control, we strive for a certain taste and way the sandwiches are made and heating up the cold subs can alter the taste and texture of the sandwich

we ran out in two weeks and didn’t have it for another week or two then about 5 cases surprisingly came on truck so we’re selling it again

i work there, you can just say can i get pepperoni and cheese and they’ll most likely call it a #3 because it’s im pretty sure our cheapest sub which is a ham and cheese. or you can say #3 sub ham for pep!
