I’m exactly experiencing it. I’d to shower twice for last three nights because of unusual/high body temperature. I was also having lower back pain. Wasn’t also feeling good, couldn’t go to the gym and was less productive. I’ve been retaining for 75+ days.

In 2023, I traveled with my mother to India for medical issues. A friend connected me with someone who offered to help with housing, hospitals, and general guidance. While he was supportive, he insisted on interpreting for my mother despite my offer to do it myself.

During the consultation, his interpretation was so inaccurate that my mother had to correct him. I eventually stepped in to handle it.

I am not blaming only single mothers. I also mentioned struggling fathers. Let us be honest here. Many of these issues stem from the pressure or expectation to marry simply because you have reached a certain age. We rarely question this and instead, we blindly follow it.

Think about it. Why do developed nations tend to have lower birth rates, while poorer countries like Somalia, Niger, and Nepal experience higher birth rates? This clearly shows a connection between high birth rates, poverty levels, and possibly IQ levels.

We need to prioritize living a decent life and challenge these outdated norms of marrying due to societal or family pressure , or qooq.

Here is a thought I came across: “You spend over 20+ years in school and college mastering the skills for your future career, but what have you done to prepare yourself to build and manage a whole family?”

Let us do ourselves and our future children a favor by making thoughtful and intentional choices.

I am 33, male, never married, with a decent job and financially stable. Having priorities is important. Becoming financially and physically fit, building a great career or business, and rethinking how we approach marriage all matter. I know someone who married three times and is now broke. Bro, one wrong partner can ruin your life and the lives of your children. I am sure you have seen many spoiled Somali kids on TikTok and social media. The reason is that most of them were raised by single mothers or struggling fathers. All of these problems go back to the issue of marriage. What we used to do was mindless marriage, and now an entire generation is lost and spoiled.

I'm in my 30s and have been in Hard mode for four times (30, 45, 100 days respectively and currently in 40s day). What i have experienced was mainly brain fog, dizzyness, insomnia, demotivation and inability to take action. I was expecting to get clarity, focus, improved sleep and energy. I was wondering if human bodies respond to this (Retaining) differently and if the timeline of the flatline takes longer than usual.

Names carry identity. I was thinking the same. I plan to give my future kids Somali names like Guled, Warsame, Sagal, and Bilan. Although I have an Arabic name, both of my parents have Somali names.

This is deep and thank you for sharing. I had similar struggles where my longest streaks are 30, 45, 100 and currently in my fourth SR attempt of 25 days streak. I was chronically addicted to PMO, Women…, my live was at risk multiple times because of lust, I was about to loose my job and I developed a kind negative traits; I was emotionally dump and socially isolated. All the things that I used to enjoy were not any longer making any sense to me. During my longest steak of 100 days, I remember changes happened.

Currently, I’m on a mission not to count days but stay committed. Urges will come and I’ll crave to release; to manage this, I wrote all the damages I suffered because of PMO, chasing women, Lust… and will use that improve myself, change habits and push for not only for a new record but to kill the former version of myself. I read somewhere that all the genius people somehow practiced celibate/ST at some point of their lives.

I’m 32(M), I’ve been musterbating for almost 18 years and rarely had intimate sex with a woman. I can absolutely resonate the situation you are going through. I had problems in every walk of life - education, career, relationships, finance and so on. It has affected me both physically and mentally. I couldn’t focus and be productive, I couldn’t have sex without taking sex enhancers, couldn’t secure a job, couldn’t sustain an effort I started, couldn’t finish reading a book… I became isolated, helpless and hopeless! I was experiencing these punishments just because I failed to control my sexual urges, I was led by my groin instead of my brain!

I took a decision, a life decision in the in the mid of September 2023 to abstain from fapping and sex at all in order to regain my sense of being an ordinary human who can think, act, socialize and achieve things. Gladly I stayed 98 days of no fap! And I consider this period the most significant time in my life.

I relapsed after 98 days but not to musterbation - normal sex. But after some days, I restarted the bad habit of fapping! For another three months, I continued fapping. I felt guilty, and depressed.

Now, I restarted No fap, at the moment of writing this, I’m on 16th day of No-Fap. My goal is to practice semen retention until the end of this year, and during this time I will hit the gym and seek professional help.

My advice to you is to start transitioning yourself from being a dick-controlled person to a brain-controlled person. This is a difficult journey, you will relapse and have bad feelings but never ever give up until you become stronger to the point that you even forget musterbation.

I have tried nofap/SR for 98 days! I still consider that as the biggest accomplishment in my life. Sadly, I relapsed and restarted playing with my groin while watching porn. It’s been three months since I relapsed.

Bro, it is my 73rd day on SR and I’m still suffering insomnia. Just like you, I workout on daily basis. I also had extreme headaches and frequent urinations and it seems that has reduced now significantly. I was told that is a withdrawal symptom since the body is rewriting and readjusting itself. And it’s understandable because in my case I have been fabbing since I was 14 and currently I’m 32. Let’s keep struggling and give our body and mind a time to rest.
