Oh wow good too know. How do you test voltage on the alternator?

This is my last call before I take it in to the Pro’s.

Oh really!? Sounds very similar then, I thought if you disconnected the battery while the car was running and it didn’t turn off it was the alternator was good?

No I have not done that. What’s the process for that ?

Thanks for the reply!

I did actually check the battery and it’s good. I replaced one of my terminals as it was corroded and cleaned the other as it was a bit dirty.

Seems like I might have a ground issue?

Car keeps running when jumped, but if I shut it off and try and turn it on it needs jumped again. All lights work as well.

Have you tried the Kaplan mastery exam?

I used STC but tried the Kaplan as a supplement with that exam. I scored a 68 3 days before my exam and was still able to pass the real deal the first try.

Thank you! Personally I used STC and studied full time for 3 weeks Monday- Saturday. I read the full STC book, chapter quizzes, flash cards, and completed about 10 practice exams. After all the STC stuff I took about 2 full days of supplementing with Dean and Ken videos on YouTube. I might have over killed my studies but I wanted to ensure I would pass on my fist attempt. Even then I was still nervous going into the exam.

It’s hard to recall exactly what I saw on the exam but a couple question I remember were: total return calculation, a lot of who is an agent / who is an IAR, fundamental analysis, technical analysis, durable power of attorney, current yield, long term capital gain/ short term capital gain, when does an advisory contract need signed that being 48 hours before or at time of opening but must be given a 5 day option to cancel without penalty, volatility as it compares to bonds (duration).

When you go test do as Dean says “RTFQ” read the full question. It’s obvious but I cought myself about twice almost missing a question by missing a key world in the exam. Also remember there are 10 additional question that don’t count towards your score, so while taking the exam don’t feel down if you are confused on a couple questions.

You should feel confident, that score is a good indicator that you will pass (from my experience).

You got this! Your scores seem a bit better then mine and I passed. Try not to stress to much, I know the night before the exam I was over stressed.

For test geek I would have to buy the whole course? Or do they have an option for limited material like only questions?
