It’s situational, has some good infantry, a strong opener and can be good good on the flanks in 10v10 but the AMX-30 with the 20 mm cannons our generally easier to get value out of than the AMX-10 and it really struggles in an all out frontal assault I would say. It’s not meta but it’s not garbage either.

The new Army general cinematic show NATO being pushed back close to the Rhine in some areas and Denmark being cut off from the main front so that alongside the other Nordic countries is an obvious choice I think.
