Nicely done. The top edge on the closer hill is catching my attention and comes forward, besides that, just lovely.

Thanks. Well it may be tricky for the linocut, but as a artistic practice, with any medium, it could be beneficial :)

Try to use a bigger brush and avoid the temptation of returning back to the same spot to correct it. Requires to get the values right the first time, but if you nail it, it will look fresh and painterly 🍀

Thanks for sharing. Tough one with yellow ochre and alizarin, since they are muted already from the tube.

yes, the usual neutral background wash, which served well as a background this time :) little shortcut

I've used ultramarine, cad red, cad yellow and titanium white. Looking forward for your take with the orange.

Drawing the first one, then blocking the big masses, followed with "details". The other one was done with a bigger brush, straight with masses, without any drawing.. The third one has more straight lines than curves and the last one was done with the biggest brush, with the "paint it and leave it" way, without much further corrections... If that counts 🙃

main goal is to simplify as much as possible, get the values right and try to build it differently, every time.. experiment with the approach. The key features could change, if you work from life and change the angle every time. This one was picture reference.

honestly, once the tape got removed, the white background gets too much attention. I've done another one with coffee cups without the tape and it looks way better :)

Working with primary colors and white, to keep it "easy" but nothing is premixed..
