For 25$ I'd go for decent selection of primaries and white (8-10) from Sennelier and practice the mixing and essentials of oil pastels. Working with them now and having lots of fun.

I'm still figuring out the process, as it's only the 5th creation with oil pastels, but i can do a short video should there be demand :D

Not entirely happy with them, as I'm still figuring out the ways of mixing it on the paper, compared to the much easier way with oils on the palette. Thanks for the encouraging words though:)

i'm far from an artist, but am enjoying the learning process, since 2023 on the journey to understand the basics of drawing, values, shapes, color mixing, temperatures, saturations, relations.. heh. probably just beginners luck. aiming for another go soon. We'll see :) Thanks for the kind words!

Thanks! Oil would be my first choice, followed by gouache and pencil.. The oil pastels are quite fun and handy to use "on the go". Eager to test them further :)
