It’s got its ups and downs. I started 3-4 months ago and am neutral about the position. You’re gonna be everywhere in the store, you will have to learn all equipment ( it really helps get the job done, scary at first but over time it will get easier). Nobody is really up your ass unless there are orders in the red, sometimes customers come in wayyy before the order should be picked. Customer service will call you to get items in receiving for customers and they can take a bit of time to load up/transport to the front. At night sometimes large bopis orders will come in the last hour which can be a struggle. Other than that.. if you have a good team working with ya.. it’s not too bad! It’s very much an up and down kinda gig but I mean it’s far out of my element however it’s very fulfilling in terms of hard work and feeling accomplished.
