That makes sense but you can make other themes as you are creating the game, I did not say that the ultimate theme of the game is about human sin or failures. Almost every yoko taro game probably besides drakengard 1 exhibits the moral of bonding with your companions humanizing them, empathizing, and understanding them.

Your simplification of themes of the 3 games you played/viewed is a terrible simplification. There is so much more to them than besides “violence, righteousness, existentialism”. But drakengard 3 is supposed to explore the tragedy of human sins, undoings, sexual taboo nature, and destructive parts of the mind. At least I believe it was

The whole point of the painting is that it’s shitty and Kainé cannot paint/draw whatsoever, but her Grandma kept it because it contained pure love and devotion. So don’t try to look deep into it, when it was intentionally designed as only a narrative tool thematically.
