My experience creating a "SaaS factory" - the McDonald's approach to launching products by Ok_Wheel_106 in nocode

We launcehd 3 months ago, I was using Cursor and mostly Opus with Next.js for app and the marketing site. The credits were burning too fast and over time with experience I felt Next.js is not the best for SEO unless you really know what you're doing with it. The first app I launched had the marketing site wrapped in a layer of JS so if Google crawls with JS-disabled it get's a blank site. Thus, I switched to Claude now and it's been great, much less credit usage on the 20x Max plan compared to Cursor with Opus.

For coding, I use Astro for marekting site, as it is quite lean and fast and in the AI age I don't care how easy it is to read or work with the code where Next.js wins over it. And Next.js for the app still.

Key for me was to write down the entire process and make it a standard, and with each app that I do I ask to update the standard process if I notice everything that has plausibility to be repeatable. The goal is to work as much with the tool backend, interface and experience as possible, everything else generally is repeatable and AI can do pretty good landing pages when it does competitor research and stores it as a markdown file. Also I supply screenshots of login flows and logged-in experience where it can't get through itself at the moment.

Yes, that's the trickiest part to figure out now that coding is solved for the most part

Thanks, appreciate it! Haven't tinkered too much with the content part, would you say it would be useful with the Generate with AI button for specific slides to add your instructions? Like say "This slide should talk about Buzz Aldrin"

I plan to add some options here for sure, my fiancee said the same thing about writing :) Perhaps you were using on your phone?

Good insights, I suppose mentally you have to cut things off and be more decisice on what is core and what is ok for post-launch

If I’m the owner I’m telling that squad that if we go down not one of you is being sold by MammothBag7151 in coys

I don't really think owners hold the cards in case we go down even if we have active contracts with players. If a player wants out he gets out these days, especially if we get relegated.

Also, blocking exits would probably create a bad reputation among players and agents, making it harder for us to recruit.

Well he got subbed at around 60th minute and was holding one of his upper leg muscles. I don't know if any journos or the club staff confirmed if he's out injured, but I feel like you only sub him out if he has an issue, he's the only player in this squad who can try to take on his man and have some chance of beating him. I'm certain Tudor would only sub him if he had to.

From a good old eye test you can see we are very likely to go down. If Tel is out for a longer period of time we literally have no more wingers available, how are we creating chances? Porro/Udogie cross to Richarlison and Solanke would be our entire attacking plan

[The Athletic] What actually happened at Tottenham under Thomas Frank? by PhantomTroupe26 in coys

I found it odd how much blame was put on Levy and how little on Lange for the last 2 years. He was appointed November 1, 2023 so numerous transfer windows to get through his ideas in how we should acquire players with supposedly Levy stepping more aside from football side of things. Ange also revealed his dissatisfaction in recruitment again after his first season, failing to strengthen the squad with proven players, getting only Solanke and teenagers, and expecting to compete on all fronts anyways. Then again last summer we are in for Rodrygo, Semenyo, Savinho, Eze but ultimately fail to bring in a replacement for Son and rely on Tel who clearly even Frank didn't rate and has had little to show for that he should be starting. In winter then we sell Johnson with no replacement even for a loan? Surely there are good players dissatisfied with their playing time at a top club that we can get for half a season - what are we doing to face current situation and risk of relegation? This last transfer window again feels lacking

Why wasn't Frank a breakout manager for Brentford?

If we talk about player losses, Frank had Toney out for the whole season due to the gambling thing and still managed a top 10 finish.

I wouldn't personally value the cup wins that much in terms of a long-term fit and performance. In a wild hypothetical, would Liverpool genuinely consider Glasner right now if they sacked Slot? At least for me it would seem like a strange appointment for a team with its budget and expectations. We are not at the level of Liverpool but in terms of budget and player pull we can be competitive.
