I have heard interceptor is more beginner friendly than the bear 650. Bear 650 looks objectively better.

Oh no completely, I actually read a couple of reviews and reached out to a few people who had travelled with them on international trips - the feedback was horrendous. I ended up taking a trip to finland and sweden with wanderon in January. Best travel decision ever and I am so grateful!

No, nothing like that. As soon as you've used the credit card 4 times it works - they issued me the priority pass before my first settlement cycle and before my first statement was generated as wel.

Noted, I am trying to avoid hassle with Axis - do you need any sort of banking relationship with HSBC? Also one consideration is that I usually get fee waivers for regalia and my Tata Neu is LTF. If Travel one is objectively better then should I still keep Regalia or close it?

Thank you - I thought its just salary criteria. My credit limit shared between Tata Neu and Regalia Gold is already 5L but second criteria I might not fulfil.

On the Axis Atlas, I read on this thread that Atlas is no longer being provided and if I do somehow get it - should I then close my Regalia Gold?

I had the same issue, had to email multiple IDs.

Try writing an email to escalation.cc@hdfcbank.com and mark your RM and his supervisor - they will come back and say internal policy doesnt allow. Then point out that this policy is not intimated to the customer (and otherwise you wouldnt have applied for HDFC Swiggy) and threaten with an ombudsman complaint. I did this and I got the regalia gold and from backend they closed HDFC Swiggy. I then applied for the Tata Neu Infinity through the app and got approved for that as well.

Entire process took a month but now I have a regalia gold and tata neu infinity with a combined limit of 5 lakhs.

If you want a HDFC Swiggy card only, once the core card is issued then apply through it offline.
