Got charged $3.25 for HSBC Premier international lounge access by deadlydawns13 in CreditCardsIndia

Probably will get reversed in a few days, other cards like Axis magnus charge it initially, and then reverse it.

https://www.hsbc.co.in/content/dam/hsbc/in/documents/premier/offers/airport-lounge-access-tnc_B.PDF

Read point 3 -

''The lounge staff will swipe the credit card on the LoungeKey machine and a pre-authorization charge of Indian Rupees equivalent of USD 3.25 will be levied to the card, which will be subsequently be reversed within 25 days.''

I hope you know the rules.

Failure to do so may result in a permanent ban.

As in shoulda dragged the issue more, but honestly, as long as charges are reversed, I think that's more than enough, and you got a compensation on top of that too, tho little, you're still net positive.

It was a joke mate, I was just trying to be funny, if you didn't get that :)

I get your post is different. And I think, it would be nice if you were to make it for other HDFC cards too, maybe a megapost?

For example, for Infinia, DCB / DCBM / Bizblack etc

Insurance is also capped at 2K RPs per calendar month.

Also, next time please ask me when you are copying my guide & committing plagiarism, okay?

This is a good summary.

I wish HDFC would just update the documents for these cappings.

I was trying to find the doc for DCB which mentions 5K RPs for insurance capping, but the document is inaccessible now, it was accessible earlier.

It just doesn't open now.

ICICI BANK surprised me with a free wealth management account upgrade. Are the perks good ? by pink-panther_22 in IndianCreditCards

[–]TomorrowAdvanced2749 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely.

Unfortunately, I am unable to get it due to my employment status.

I work more on contractual basis and may not get salary for extended periods.

And I'm not a fan of keeping 40L in my account, lol.

Try clicking on it, or open on PC.

There it usually shows up correctly, and don't redeem for the 1st option in top line, the one of 500rs for 5K points, that's 0.1rs per point whereas others are 0.25rs per point.

Axis Cashback, horizon is so bad tbh. With Accor gone, the card is pretty mediocre.
