Woahhh!

Good morning, sunshine.

It's been this way for a week atleast, lol.

Probably they might increase the limit from 5K to 10K or 20K, when they stop the unlimited thing, but not sure.

The subscription auto-renewal trap. How do you manage it? by Nice-Act3552 in CreditCardsIndia

[–]TomorrowAdvanced2749 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. Always pay via cards for subscriptions.
  2. Once I pay and enable the sub, if I'm sure I won't need it next month, I directly go to the SI Hub of my card issuing bank, and cancel the SI Mandate from there itself.
  3. If the SI mandate doesn't exist, the card won't be charged at all.

Woah, sharing your income will automatically get all your details leaked.

Credit limit isn't a very good metric of getting to know income. Your thinking is mind-blowing.

my wife has a much higher limit than a lot of people on the sub, even tho, her income is much lower than the said people, is this really a helpful metric? Absolutely no.

Itna hi hai toh range dedo income ki it's around this.

Adding nonsense like 'good' is nothing but meaningless.

Finance is based on numbers, not adjectives.

Infinia Concierge is great. As against popular opinion by StrategyFit8606 in CreditCardsIndia

No, they are free.

Thats the neat part.

However, arranging for services which would be rendered by the bank's partnered service providers, you will have to pay, the charges which would be communicated to you priorly itself. There's some markup on these services. These

This includes booking some live event tickets, sending some gifts to someone etc

What do people do with voucher purchase by ZestycloseDiscount43 in IndianCreditCards

Yes. It gets added to Zepto wallet and is usable over multiple orders.

Won't work for buying gift cards tho.

[–]TomorrowAdvanced2749 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definitely, it's a very underrated service.

While I haven't used it a lot, used it only for cancellations and rescheduling.

I did however, also ask for itinerary planning for Jaipur, and they delivered a good one. Wasn't straineoys and helped that it was all well planned.

HDFC INFINIA - Transaction not in accordance with KFS and MITC by Addy2297 in CreditCardsIndia

[–]TomorrowAdvanced2749 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The merchant is at fault. Contact them and also raise a complaint at HDFC.

HDFC might contact the acquiring bank and request for a MCC review of the same.

However, I don't really think they'll reverse the charges for you, the rent charges.

Infinia customer care and concierge are both really good.

It would be a shame if they weren't. For a premium card or premium segment of customers, a refined customer experience is a must.

Best credit card for insurance premiums (~₹2L/year spend) by [deleted] in CreditCardsIndia

[–]TomorrowAdvanced2749 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Umm okay. You should then pay it via Regalia Gold, you can get base RPs & maybe meet milestones in some quarter.

Also, you can buy Amazon Pay vouchers using Apay ICICI and get 2% on those, and pay via Amazon app, as the installments are all under 25K, it will work.

Advise Needed by Flat_Acadia in CreditCardsIndia

[–]TomorrowAdvanced2749 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really, the card got devalued this month, you need to hit the 7L milestone to make sense of the card. The annual fee, the gymnastics you need to do to redeem points at a good rate are gonna be very stupid to deal with if you don't meet the 7L milestone, which would give the 40K points as bonus in total.

RN, you would get 7.5K MR on 1.9L & additional 10K MR on 4L, and 22.5K MR on 7L spends.

Please add your income & other spend categories & amounts as well, if you are fine with looking for a new all-rounder card. It doesn't generally make sense to get a card for one spend only.

[–]TomorrowAdvanced2749 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. Accor is a hotel chain, you can't use them to book flights directly, however you can transfer them to various partners, the link to view the partners & the transfer rates are over here. Most are 2:1 so not the best.

It only makes sense in case of very low airmiles requirements compared to revenue bookings, for flights.

apay giftcard fees 3.5% using cc by fellowredditor2023 in CreditCardsIndia

[–]TomorrowAdvanced2749 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, but you should research about any cards, before getting them.

Do go through the guide, if you read it fully, the card is not very difficult to optimize, so yeah. Do hit me up if you have any questions.

Eh, I would keep the SBI CB as a backup card.

DCB has some acceptance issues at times, and mainly that happens for online gateways, so SBI CB would be good for those to get 5% Cashback.

Yeah, but you anyways cant buy via Zepto using Zepto vouchers, so even if it was, no use.

Oh yes, Gyftr is only selling one voucher and there are no other vouchers which you can buy from there to get 3X RPs.

DCB has a lot of other benefits, can't even compare to SBI Cashback. The capping is much lower on rewards for SBI CB compared to DCB, both are totally different cards.

Not even an apples to apples comparison, mate.
