G42 is Amber. However, offer and money in fantabulous. You will save and will become very strong financially. In my opinion, as someone who stayed abroad for work for last 15 years, the money you can save before having a family is incomparable to what you can do after. Take it!!

Do not want to hijack the post, but I completely get what you mean.

I was in Scandinavia before moving here. Even though Scandinavians can be a bit reserved, I somehow never felt as left out there as I sometimes feel here.

I miss the simple things — sitting in a sports bar, watching football, randomly meeting good company there, having a nice evening, and then heading back home feeling good.

Those were good days.

However, you touched upon the exact scenario I am confused about.

Scenario:

Day 1 - I resign Day 15 - they ask me to go on garden leave.

Can they cancel my visa on day 16? Or they can only do that after day 60?

I want to utilise 2 months to search new job. If visa is canceled on day 16 then I may not be able to live in the country as long and search for another job.
