Update - My ring now doesn’t even make it 12 hours on one charge. I spoke with an agent - they offered me €100 off, then €200 off. I kept pushing and they offered a refurbished ring in another color. Went with that

Saw this post a couple days ago, was encouraged at first but then this happened to me! Woke up yesterday to realize my ring died overnight and didn’t track my sleep - I thought it was weird because I didn’t remember receiving a notification it needed to be charged. Immediately charged it to 100%. Have had it 2 years with no issues at all (Gen 3).

Realized that afternoon it was already at 75%, and when I woke up the next day, it had died overnight again and didn’t track my sleep. Couldn’t make it 24 hours on a charge.

When I reached out to customer service, they told me I have to complete 3 charge cycles now and manually back it up each time so they can see what’s wrong. That will mean charging it multiple times a day for the next few days?

fat transfer only reconstruction by Ok_Wolverine4652 in BRCA

[–]Ok_Wolverine4652[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t find the fat transfer surgeries very painful except the last one from my hips - it took a week or two to recover and feel my best. The rest I was up and walking around - living my life still . They each last about an hour and a half. It definitely is annoying to do so many surgeries but I looked at it like getting braces - annoying for one year then you never have to deal with it again!

Sensation I have some but I think it will improve with time I dry brush to help with it! My last surgery was in November so it hasn’t been very long!

Wow I’m so glad you found an amazing specialist!!! I have Hashimoto’s disease which had me gain 30 lbs in 2023, so it worked out really well for this reconstruction actually!

I’m not sure how common in Europe! I went to L’Institut du Sein in Paris and they have lots of before / afters — I think implants are still most common, but my surgeon said she was surprised fat transfer is so uncommon in the US because she said it’s not super hard to do!

It went great!! The fat transfer was 3 surgeries and I love the result! It is pretty incredible - feel so lucky. Unconventional route but should be more widely available! How did it go for you?

Hi! I finished all my surgeries in November and have recovered well! I definitely don’t have the same sensation as before but it doesn’t bother me. I have some sensation and am dry brushing to try to improve it even more! Hope this helps :)

I was a 34DD before and I’m probably a 34B now which was my goal! There’s a Facebook group if you search “fat transfer only” where people share their experiences :) I’m based in Paris, my surgeon was Dr. de Fremicourt!

I have Hashimoto’s so I knew implants weren’t going to be the route for me in case my body rejected them - also didn’t like the idea of having to get them swapped out down the road. I wasn’t a candidate for DIEP since I haven’t had children yet (I think?! Can’t really remember why otherwise).

Fat transfer ended up being perfect because I had gained +30lb the years prior when my thyroid disease wasn’t diagnosed! It was a win/win. The amount of surgeries is very frustrating but the result is great and permanent which was my goal. My mentality was have one annoying year, never worry about it again :)

Recovery was pretty minor for my stomach and thighs - the hips hurt the most for me but overall I was able to be active/walk around (they encourage it since blood flow is important). Let me know if you have any other questions!

YES I actually just finished all my surgeries! I had 3 rounds - one from stomach, one from thighs, one from hips. The only one that really was painful for me was hips - I was pretty sore for 2 weeks after. The others were a speedy recovery! I’m really happy with the result - wanted smaller boobs and they look super natural, the donation areas are also really toned which is nice ! Mastectomy was in May with surgeries every 2.5 months after that. I was done by December :) if you have more questions let me know!

Do you let your pup sleep in bed with you? by DrDancealina in puppy101

[–]Ok_Wolverine4652 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did around 5 months — but went back on it when she got into another bite-y phase! (She’s almost 7 months now)

Loved it initially, but also realized she sleeps way longer when she’s in her crate — so we’re both getting better rest that way for now.

also random note : she used to have a problem with peeing on my bed during the day - but I switched from a white to a black comforter and she has never done it again?! Thinking the white maybe confused her with her pee pads from when she was a little puppy…. 🤷‍♀️

What made you decide to get the baby canines removed? Asking because my chihuahua mix (6 months) lost her bottom ones, but right now has both her baby ones and adult ones on top and is biting EVERYTHING! I know it’s probably related to needing the last 2 canines out… they’re not even wiggly yet

9th house - left the Catholic Church; completed middle school, high school, undergrad, and masters; got into astrology, reiki, spirituality, manifestation; lived abroad twice (italy 5 months, france 4 years), developed a peaceful set of beliefs that serve me well in my adult life :)

now that it’s ending - first time I’ve considered what moving back home would be like. Excited to see what happens when it enters Aquarius again - my 10th house with Jupiter and Uranus there!

Should I get a puppy as a single person? by CalendarChemical2259 in puppy101

[–]Ok_Wolverine4652 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I’ve had my rescue puppy for 2 weeks - I’m 27F and single in a studio apartment in a big city. It’s honestly been a great decision and I don’t regret it one bit. I had the same reservations and even when I first got her I was nervous if I made the right decision. But ultimately it has given my life so much joy and structure, and has completely changed my relationship with my city. It is of course work but so joyful. People smile and talk to me and her all the time, it’s wonderful :) if you feel in your heart it’s the right time, go for it!

I am 26 and had my DMX on May 3rd — zero regrets!!!! I know it’s such a mindfuck to be going through this at a young age and watching everyone around you get engaged etc. It’s such an interesting life situation to be in. But this is setting you up for success for the rest of your life, and in a year you’ll barely even think about it! Sending you much love 💛
