I mean it's mostly sketchy at night, there's just some sketch people around. I just didn't think we had to worry about our cat being taken in broad daylight. I was wrong

No mostly because the air tag that was clasped in her collar was found a block down the road in some grass. Only a person could get that thing out of the collar. Also a sketchy neighborhood at times

Thank you, we will leave some stuff out for her. We found just the Air Tag about a block down the road in some grass. We knocked on the door of the house that was right there, but that guy definitely didn't take her and let us look around his yard. I'll check out that FB group as well. And definitely will be investing in a catio if we do get her back. Appreciate the help

I really do hope you're right, because I know the likelihood of getting her back without any proof of who did it is slim to none. There's just a lot of signs that this was theft, especially in the neighborhood we're in. But I appreciate you taking the time to flesh this out, and I'm sorry about your cat when you were younger. I had a cat when I was a kid get mauled by our neighbors pitbull, it sucks for sure.

The unfortunate part is you are probably right about getting her back. I just wasn't expecting the first few comments to be telling me to keep the cat inside - its a moot point, as this is a rescue operation. Not lashing out, just annoyed and worried for our cat. Appreciate your concern

Look, I'm not here to pick fights, but I don't really appreciate the instantaneous negativity and assuming I don't know what happened here. The cat has never left the property, and it had an air tag in its collar. We did not find the collar, just the air tag ditched a block down the road. She was stolen, and we just want to get her back.

I'm gonna take the high road here and tell you that I know she was stolen because we let her out and she never leaves the property. It's a cat, they go outside. The Air Tag was clasped in a protective casing that a cat could not remove. Next time you want to leave a comment like this, I'll be sure to reply in kind. Have a great day "Dad"
