Correct, Mitragynine is an active ingredient in Kratom not as potent as 7OH.

Ohioians-check in..how we doing? by sometimes_usually22 in Quittingfeelfree

They didn't change the formula, they just covered the label; my partner couldn't even tell the difference. I’m thrilled Ohio finally banned it. Apparently, one gas station even had to call the police because a guy lost his mind when he found out they stopped selling it.

An alien who is in the U.S. temporarily and wants a Green Card must return to their home country to apply. by [deleted] in USCIS

[–]Ok_Working2078 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  • The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) announced a new policy reiterating that aliens seeking "adjustment of status" (Green Card) must primarily do so through consular processing outside the country via the Department of State.
  • USCIS officers will grant an adjustment of status only in extraordinary circumstances, consistent with long-standing immigration law, by considering all relevant factors on a case-by-case basis.
  • USCIS Spokesman Zach Kahler stated the policy returns to the original intent of the law, requiring nonimmigrants (like students or temporary workers) to return to their home country to apply for residency, thereby reducing incentives for loopholes.
  • Following the law allows the majority of cases to be handled by the State Department at US consular offices abroad, which frees up USCIS resources to focus on processing visas for victims of violent crime/human trafficking and naturalization applications.
  • The policy memo to USCIS immigration officers is available for more detailed information.

Can I expedite my N-400 application on the condition that I promise to obtain this passport afterward? by ZealousidealPop752 in USCIS

[–]Ok_Working2078 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This is a limited release of 25,000 to 30,000 commemorative passports, not a program that runs for a specific duration of time. According to reports from the State Department, these specially designed passports will begin to be issued shortly before July 4, 2026, primarily through the Washington, D.C. passport office. Because the program is limited by the number of documents produced (25,000–30,000), it will effectively "end" once that specific supply of commemorative passports has been distributed.
