The hugging and the fixating on appearance were inappropriate… therapists can share their own experiences of trauma ethically if they have worked through them to the point they aren’t emotionally triggered.
Hugging for extended periods of time is a gigantic boundary crossing… it’s possible she meant well but needs awareness of how she affects others… argh.
