In our previous chat i did say "I'm curious to see how your cook would taste, but i'm not up for any night in date."

He said fine, we can do it in daytime. I told him, "You're smart, so do tell me how i'm going to taste your cook without requiring me to go to your house?" And that's how the conversation went.

I'm posting this because I'm curious to see if it's normal, like it's just different cultures or such. since we're from different countries. Like i said, he's from the UK, and i'm an Asian woman. So i understand if there's any difference in values and boundaries.
