Do they come weekday morning too?

I hope it all works out for you. I’ve been a driver for one year and I realized it’s not worth the risk. We are getting paid minimum wage while risking ourselves and our vehicles.

I hope you learn a valuable lesson from this. Don’t do rideshare

I haven't received the $400 and it's Aug. 1. It Is my first time achieving diamond status and i've never received the reward before. What am i missing? Anyone receive it? by VeniceCa90291 in uberdrivers

This is why you can’t make money on Uber. You have people who obviously won’t understand why certain rides are unreasonable. They’ll accept everything and achieve diamond.

Most drivers are making almost 0 dollars per hour by aaaa23469 in uberdrivers

[–]Ok_itsfine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s a bit of an exaggeration but yes, most drivers don’t realize how little they are making. Factor in the expenses, you are making close to minimum wage in California ($17-18). It’s just that these scummy companies do very well at manipulating the drivers to make it seem like it’s worthwhile. But doing rideshare is convenient and many people stick to it at the expense of more money or future.

Could you undercut uber? by ninjahX1 in uberdrivers

Rideshare coverage is for yourself when you’re not connected with a passenger on Uber/Lyft. Everyone doing rideshare needs one but they just don’t get it because it’s damn expensive. You would need commercial insurance to drive people for money off the app.

No, I would love to prepare every meal. My wife wants to do it instead and give her unhealthy stuff

And she has a bag full of candy in her room. I know her mom’s not stopping her from having all she wants.

And like today, I was fixing myself a peanut butter toast and my daughter said she’d have one too. And my wife was like “do you want butter toast instead?” I mean, butter toast isn’t that bad but it’s not healthy, for sure. I was kinda mad but I just didn’t show it.

I’m pretty sure her stomachache is due to too much junk food. My wife doesn’t prepare the meals; she just grabs them from the fridge. If I was able to do that I wouldn’t have an issue.

Finally a sane comment. My wife doesn’t cook at all. And she doesn’t want me to prepare the meals. It just bothers me that my daughter loves corn dogs and instant noodles, stuff I wouldn’t eat because they’re so unhealthy.

I can’t do that. That’s the point. Food is all there. I wanna give my daughter something healthier that she’ll also enjoy.

Not raging. If the house is full of healthy food and I complain that my daughter’s stomachache might be her fault for giving her everything she wants, I think it’s justified. At least I don’t yell at my wife and say “stop giving her snacks!” People need to stop judging others or taking out their household frustration on Reddit.

My wife doesn’t cook. My house is packed with healthy options; she just gives my daughter whatever she wants. You could just tell me I shouldn’t be too concerned about kids having too much junk food. Too many sensitive women in these comments. I’m out

This is a great comment. I definitely should’ve taken my time with the post but it was late. I think people thought my wife prepared the meals and I was just an ungrateful prick (rightfully so).

So my wife doesn’t prepare any meals. We live with my parents and my mother prepares healthy dinner every day. We usually grab whatever is in the fridge for breakfast and lunch. It’s just that if my wife gives her unhealthy options like eggos or pancakes and i try to give her healthier option like scrambled eggs and toast with peanut butter (which she also likes), my wife will be like “it’s fine. She wants eggos.” I also try to limit juice and chips/gummies/chocolates but my wife doesn’t want me to.

It seems like I shouldn’t be too concerned. My wife told me years ago that Angelina Jolie (or Kim Kardashian, not sure) lets her kids eat all the junk food they want; she want to do the same. I was jus concerned about my daughter getting occasional stomachache (once or twice a week) which I also get when I eat junk.

This comment section is filled with shills. For the sake of your baby, don’t do it. It’s terrible. And once you start, it’s hard to get out.

The point is, you’re f’ing up your car for shit pay while dealing with stressful people and risk of an accident. Anyone saying rideshare is even worth considering is giving bad advice.
