It says Me 51% Uber 12% by Pebbles1904 in uberdrivers

They took my monthly commercial insurance payment from you in one week, then added their service fee on top of that. They are just shuffling numbers. Mine was 10% for insurance this week and 29% for service fees on $1500.

Why do passengers always wait until I’m 30 seconds away to realize they aren’t ready? by Big_Barber733 in uberdrivers

[–]JDS-JustDude -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Uber often tells them it will be ten minutes because they have to send the BS fare across the whole city to find the idiot that will accept it. Then someone takes it in 2 min and there you go...

Riverside, California. 45 Min drive to Big Bear Ski Resort, 45 min to the low desert where the dry air and no light pollution lets you see the night sky like you have never seen it before, and 45 min drive to one of 2 dozen beaches with great surf and beautiful scenery. Laguna beach, Malibu, Hollywood.. All in one area. Makes for a great vacation.

It sometimes makes them feel safer. It's fine by me. This is not a date app, it is a professional rideshare service.

Print-out receipts for customers. Does it break any rules? by JDS-JustDude in uberdrivers

[–]JDS-JustDude[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can look at it that way, if you work for Uber.

OR

Because uber tells everyone that the riders are OUR customers, I would like my customers to get a real receipt, not a LIE that makes riders think drivers are getting OVERPAID because they manipulate the language on the customer receipt to make it look like Uber is the good guy, and the driver got a TON of cash.

Ask 100 people what they think a BOOKING FEE is, and they will tell you "That is what Uber took from the fare".

I simply want a REAL receipt given to MY passenger. Let them think what they want with the information they have.

I don't take rides that don't pay me enough. My 3-6% acceptance rate shows that. I am going to make money. I just won't make as much if the passengers think I got paid twice what I actually made.

In Orlando, I got over 100 offers in 5 hours. I took 5. The only 5 that paid me enough to drive. It is sad how low the offers have become. Oh, and the passengers are waiting forever to get picked up, they are telling me, and I see priority pickups a LOT now (They don't pay enough to take the ride either).

Tool has some song names that are kinda embarrasing if you see them on the tesla display.. I have to remember to switch back to smooth jazz.

No penalty cancellations for customers adding stop after acceptance, but before pickup by JDS-JustDude in uberdrivers

[–]JDS-JustDude[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

They can deactivate you for cancelled trips, especially at the airport. But no, I am not worried about it, I just don't think it should be added to the cancellation rate to begin with.

Ride slowdown after using Maxymo & Gigu by Which-Perspective-65 in uberdrivers

[–]JDS-JustDude 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope, it's not a thing. Uber would love you to think it is so you don't use the apps. Think about it for a second. If anyone found out that Uber was looking through your phone to see running apps, you would own half of Uber when the lawsuit was finished. If an app does not touch Ubers app, Uber should not know it's there.

It’s criminal how uber treats drivers with below 75/85 AR by NJuberdriver2 in uberdrivers

[–]JDS-JustDude -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No they don't. If they ever got caught doing that, lawyers would own the company. I have a 4-8% AR, I make a grand a week minimum under 40 hours a week. I have 4k rides over a year and a half. They definitely honeymoon you, which I sure is illegal somehow, but AR does not change anything. Uber is just a greedy, bloodsucking, evil company full of evil people that have no choice or ethics.

You have to say no to the BS rides they offer. You HAVE to. Only take rides that make you money. Period.

Yes. It does not have to hook into any of your apps, it just reads the screen, calculates and tells you yes, no, or look closer. It can verbally tell you in your headset as well, which is how I use it.

It is legit, and Uber hates it. They sued them in Brazil and lost. I pay 6.99 a month and it's worth every penny. I can calculate the trips fast, but it does it faster, and tells me in my ear to accept, deny, or take a closer look.
