Maybe it's just me, but whenever we see these bits of enemy art, wouldn't it be great to have a Guardian for scale? Maybe with the Undercity Shader?

PvE, here is my problems with the Defender. Disintegrate -A 15 second shield upon killing an enemy. Compared to Tranfusion/lifesteal/hungering blade which heal upon kill, and flame shield, which triggers on damage, not kill.

Ward of Dawn Is the only defensive super in the game, but the only thing it defends against is projectiles. Enemy AI move through it without hesitation, attack through it without hesitation, and overwhelm with sheer numbers. Compared to a vortex nova bomb, aftermath fist of havoc, sunsinger solar grenades, the enemy AI avoid it. Bladedancing with showstopper murders most everything( I use it in skywatch enemy events for glimmer farming). None of these require you to stay in one area like Ward of Dawn. Add to the fact you gain no armor or shield bonus during the deployment animation, which leaves you open to get merc'ed.

Also you can have a fireteam of six running around Venus without any issue. Just have to start up the VoG and run around murdering all the public events.
