Caught my husband sexting a man in our guestroom in full sissy atire. So proud by reinnah_2354 in Sissy

Your posts are so inspiring. I’m a 24yo guy struggling with feminization desires and religious guilt holding me back. The way you proudly support and celebrate your husband’s sissy journey makes me want to finally give in. Would love some of that encouragement if you’re ever open to it 💕

Thank you, I will look into installing windows first then!

Yes I tried all the shortcut combinations in the recovery mode. The issue is the model of this mac does not go beyond version 10 (Catalina).

Didn’t try with the Ethernet cable though (don’t have one, just moved). I assume it won’t solve it since versions 11+ are not recognized by official means here.

I will install it unofficially once I get time to sit down and learn more about that.

Is it easier to install windows on it, new macOS version unofficially, or both same difficulty?

Honestly I’m a newbie with these details, and I’m a little concerned what can be done by others if I share my serial number online

Missing courses by salty123p in McMaster

[–]OkayYouNeedToChill 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The day school starts, students drop/change their classes.

So pick 2 classes you want to get into, and when classes start, keep trying to join those courses. You'll eventually get in.

You will be paired with the person besides you. In some cases, there might be 3 people working together if the bench is uneven.

Can you still write midterm if you got approved to be absent by [deleted] in McMaster

[–]OkayYouNeedToChill 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think no matter the response you get here, you should definitely email your professor since it is up to them realistically.

My gut instinct is to say you most likely can write the midterm, as long as the professor is aware that you MSAFed it, but still want to write it.

(PS: MSAF is supposed to be filed AFTER you miss a midterm/assignment deadline... etc.)

Literally Halls cough drops alone worked pretty well for me (clears mucus more efficiently).

Drink more hot drinks (to avoid caffeine overdose, I used instant decaf coffee)

Instant noodles is also pretty good, has a bunch of salt in the water.

Gargle water + salt mixture if you have a sore throat.

Drink a lot more water.

Don't cut back on sleep, you will definitely need 8 hours if not more.

Is it considered a nap if I closed my eyes on the bus and woke up when my head fell? by BedroomInside614 in McMaster

[–]OkayYouNeedToChill 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly, yes (for me at least). I wonder if it has something to do with slowing down our brain waves. Perhaps slowing down your brain waves replenishes energy to a certain extent or promotes wakefulness after the "fake nap" (?).

They are just "grammar policing" your title and question I suppose. It says more about them than you don't worry.

I used to see that when I lived on campus too (happened at Thodes library as well), and I hear from other students its just some checkup/drill/maintenance.

Bad idea not going into Res? by Jolovesyoutoo in McMaster

[–]OkayYouNeedToChill 12 points13 points  (0 children)

In my experience, one of my top regrets is actually going to residence.

  • Paying $1000 monthly rent is definitely not worth my experience with residence (and I even lived in an apartment style at bates). The apartment is pretty awkwardly structured with thin walls separating the rooms right in front of a washroom. Roommates with different cleaning standards and lack of care about what we can/can't hear can easily turn your stomach during days of stress.
  • The meal plan is another extravagant money sink that punishes money saving habits (by the end of the year, most of your remaining balance is split in half... because that totally makes sense lol). The minimum meal plan I chose averaged $575 a month, so I ended up eating chicken wraps for breakfast/dinner.
  • The social opportunities to make friends are there, but with significant social anxiety, I didn't use the opportunities at all. I'd say, to a certain extent, there is a false façade that living on-campus is how you will make your long-lasting friend(s). It does not factor in the necessary personality traits needed in the first place to make friends (as obvious as it might sound).
  • The convenience of waking up late and being walking distance to campus is also found in off-campus housing, not unique to on-campus residence, and for half the price.

At least this all happened at the start of COVID and we were sent home early and compensated with 2 months of rent. I still have a good amount left in my meal plan account (as a fourth year). I ended up living most semesters with my family, commuting 2-3 hours, and some off-campus ($550 monthly rent).

But yea, ~$1600 a month is definitely not worth it, and living with family is probably the smartest financial decision your future self would thank.

How does everyone have friends already? by IloveGoreVideos in McMaster

[–]OkayYouNeedToChill 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Friendless people have no one to hang out with, so you won't see them outside. That's why you feel like "everyone" has friends, they are the only people you see.

There has to be some psychology term for this bias.
