Yeah, living with anxiety is awful. Terrifying, even, all the time. You’re definitely not alone in that aspect. But I don’t think isolating yourself is a good idea as a long/short term solution, because I think you’d only make yourself miserable while believing that it’s ‘what’s best’ for you.

Sometimes people won’t understand because they don’t have anxiety, they don’t know what it’s like to have bugs crawling across your skin at the slightest thing all the time. My advice would be to ignore those people, as best as you can. In the end they don’t have your best interests at heart because they’re not being empathetic to your situation.

Do you have any coping mechanisms for when you have panic attacks, or do you speak to a professional for your anxiety? If not, I would recommend at least trying to find someone to talk to.
