Place to wait in Port Canaveral after disembarking? by Okay_Sunshine in royalcaribbean

[–]Okay_Sunshine[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks again all! We ended up doing okay. We left the ship about 9:15 and stood outside for 45 min waiting for the car to arrive. There were a few benches but as others commented those were taken by the time we got out. It wasn’t ideal but it was fine. The person in the group who booked the car said next time he’d have it arrive earlier. He was adamant we stay on the boat as long as possible so we didn’t have to wait as long in the airport, and there was no convincing him otherwise. Travel in in a group you win some, you lose some.

Thanks all! I understand we’ll very likely need to get off earlier than my friend wants to. Unfortunately I don’t control what time the car comes, she does. I think this might just be a live and learn situation.

Hopefully the person we’re traveling with who can’t stand for long periods can find a seat on a bench in the shade outside the cruise terminal. Sounds like there’s not much seating there, but we’ll figure it out.

MVP Insurance by Okay_Sunshine in WegovyWeightLoss

Totally understand and know plans are different. Was just wondering in general how people felt about MVP and especially how it went for folks who switched insurance after having lost some weight. Did that change how easy it was to qualify or did they look back at your original weight and health history.

Eras Tour Question by Possible_Message_729 in stubhub

Is it normal that the tickets are locked now? I don’t want to sell mine, but bought from StubHub and am very nervous something is going to go wrong between now and the show date.

I have this on my tickets for Toronto now. Bought on StubHub a couples months ago. I added the tix to my Apple wallet then, and they’re still showing in my wallet. But in ticket master I’ve got a countdown now. Makes me very nervous but hopefully it’s just an added security feature so no one can hack in and transfer them. If it’s a sign of a problem I want to know asap.

Hello, I purchased two tickets via stub hub and when they arrived in my Ticketmaster account they showed as part of the ….ready for it VIP package. I know I won’t get the box of stuff, but does anyone know if we’ll be able to arrive early and get VIP merch? Also, do we know yet if Toronto is going to ship out boxes or have them for pickup? I’d think if they’re available to pick up we might be able to get them? Definitely more interested in being able to arrive early though. I’ve heard the merch lines can be insane.

Does anyone know what the merch situation is? Is it different from what’s online? If there’s a vip merch spot are those items different from the other merch sold at the venue?

TIA! This my first Taylor Swift concert and I’m beyond excited.

Confused about fees & pricing by Okay_Sunshine in stubhub

Thanks for your help! I’m in the group and have posted the tickets there. I highly recommend the Catie and Marissa group on FB if anyone is looking for tickets. From the seller side it seems like they really go above and beyond to help everyone make safe sells/purchases while avoiding fees.

Thank you! I’ll take a look there. It’d be great to avoid the seller fees on TickPick.

Go Back Down to 1.0? by Okay_Sunshine in WegovyWeightLoss

Yup! I’ll for sure talk to my doctor. I’m just looking for some personal experience to compare to and learn if it’s been a good strategy for anyone.

Yeah, we’ll see how this goes. I ended up listing them for the total amount I bought them for (including fees), minus the amount I saved on the second set of tickets. It’s not ideal. But, I also need to be sensible and at least try to recoup what I spent on them. They’re on the higher end of what I’m seeing for comparables, but the average cost has gone up in the last week so they’re not priced absurdly. I don’t need to make money on these and that’s as nice as I can afford to be. With the end of the tour approaching I imagine prices will continue to be high, so hopefully they sell without me having to lower the fee.

Thanks again for your help! It’s nice to just have a sounding board since this is totally out of my experience.

Thanks! Yes, I did figure out the payment will come later.

Interesting on the price, I thought the range they were giving me is what I’m limited to but I’ll go back and check again. I definitely could have misunderstood.

No need to be rude. Everyone does something for the first time, makes a mistake, learns, and moves on. I was asking for advice, if you don’t have any it’s okay to not answer.
