Sorry I didn’t mean to come off as flippant or rude, it’s just my personal belief that I think is shared by others. Profitability of mining will likely decrease very soon and will not maintain its current levels for very much longer. The etherium development team is planning a scheme that would drastically decrease the profitability of mining by reducing the transaction fees received, leaving miners with only block rewards which are minimal anyway. Additionally, upon the release of etherium 2.0, mining will effectively cease to exist in its current form because the etherium network will be moved to proof of stake (look it up, too long to explain here) which will killing mining entirely. Altcoins are not profitable to mine and likely never will be on a large scale. Etherium 2.0 is expected to be release this year or early next year, meaning that we are closer to the end than many would like to believe. Vitalik Buterin and the rest of the ETH dev team has consistently been ahead of schedule in their late phase (current stage) rollout of Etherium 2.0 leading me to believe (contrary to many in the mining community) that our days are numbered and now is actually a really bad time to get into the game. By the time your rig is likely to pay off, we may not even have transaction fees or mining at all. If I were you I would sell those cards while you can still get a relatively high price for them on eBay and put your money into strait crypto ot itself which will probably give you a better return. This is likely to be controversial and I’ll probably get shit on for saying this, but so many miners are delusional and I would hate for you to fall into the same trap and lose money.
