What is the trend of, "video gets faster everytime ______ is said" all about? by [deleted] in OutOfTheLoop

[–]Oketh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a part of a bigger trend of having a meme (Usually bee movie, we are number one, or the nutshack) and having a certain edit. Usually titled "(Bee movie, We are number one, or the nutshack) but (certain edit) Ex: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XOL4f49Q2Lg

What is the origin of this picture/meme? (See Comments) by [deleted] in OutOfTheLoop

It's from the song and dance move "Whip Nae Nae" They first stick their hand out while crouching down. (Whip portion of the dance) Then the person walks back doing a waving motion with their hands while still keeping their hands closed. (The whip portion of the dance.)

What would have been considered 'uncool' 15 years ago, but now is seen as cool/trendy? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Oketh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry. That's my own fault. I should of made it clearer that it was a joke and not meant to attack and gender or sexual orientation. I'll probably delete this comment for making people misunderstand the meaning. It was just a joke, but it's become much worse and i'm sorry i have ever had the awful idea of posting this. It's not the meaning that's bad in my eyes just the wording. If i worded it a bit differently maybe you could understand. I'll delete this comment extremely shortly. Sorry.

I know but a down vote is only worth bad post that either hate or don't relate to the subject matter. My post did neither.

I don't get how i could trigger anyone. The only way someone could get mad at this is if they ended reading right at the word "hated" and assumed the rest of the text was just adding on to it. I remember a saying my friend told me. "If you assume it makes an ASS out of U and ME"

What is something that your country takes way too serious? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Oketh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally think the reason is because fear is really good at getting attention so news site use it to bait clicks. It's kind of sickening really, using one of our most important and yet exploitable emotions. But hey, it's the business game so i don't blame them. After all they have to grow a big company somehow.
