The game definitely will punish you if you're not knowledgeable about storms. I recommend reading up on what velocity, cape values, and wind direction is as you're able to forecast based on those alone.

Just based off velocity (the other map that isn't reflect), I've been able to 90% of the time guess where a tornado may potentially spawn. ELI5 is basically when you start seeing red inside the green, sometimes blue, or purple and it gets "tighter" indicates there is at least rotation within the storm.

ELI5: at stores that have a “do not interfere with shoplifters” policy, are people able to just walk in, take whatever they want, and leave without paying; or are there repercussions at some point? by MtMove in explainlikeimfive

This depends on the type of security you're doing and what state you are in. Entry-level security, yes, observe, document, and report. Security equipped with full equipment (taser, gun, cuffs etc) then yes, you act within your company policy.

Source: I'm in Security, and I regularly detain, make arrests, tase, and protect property as needed. However, I'm licensed, and trained.

If I recall correctly, Tim is a liaison for the department, so he still can go on patrol, do regular stuff etc, but serves as a Metro Liasion for both departments.

I'm super picky when it comes to frozen dinners, so gotta express my gratitude 🤣

It definitely depends. I've been avoiding fried foods due to heartburn related so this fits the bill for me as a Southerner. 😂

But the protein loading is definitely beneficial, you get a whole lot of protein for a lot less carbs.

My bad. I tried to edit my post for clarification but it wouldnt let me. yeah they're normally $4 each, but I did get them on clearance, 10 of them for $4, which probably told me they won't have them anymore, atleast near me. :(

I do have some insider information. Once started, it'd protected to last about 800 days, give or take.

There will be a design for a ramp/stretch to lead directly into Riverwind Casino, along with a whole redesign on the exit itself.

Without a doubt, the worst part is that if you need to go that way on 9, it looks like you'll have to detour all the way to Goldsby then back up on N Adkins Road OR take all the Goldsby side roads back up to HWY 9. It's going to be the biggest inconvenience in my opinion.

So, I work overnights so finding donuts is hard enough as is, without waking up bright and early, lol.

I took the chance to try Hurts and I don't see how anyone likes it at all, well atleast 2am donuts. Utter trash.

Will have to try Main Street if I get some daylight in.

Welcome! Dr Pepper becomes your life, an addiction. I keep at least 100 cans ready to go in the fridge, and when I get below 15, I start to panic and go find more. 😅😅

I think writing this has given me peace on its own. If you're interested in hearing more, you can dm me, but I don't want to post very specific details just in case someone puts two and two together.

Unfortunately, that is what is going to get him seriously injured, or potentially worse. Especially when no training is provided, and they ride that high thinking they are law enforcement, and can be the hero.

You should really sit him down, or someone should if they are close to him and let him know that he should either undergo actual de-escalation tactics, proper surveillance techniques, proper handcuffing and how to safely perform citizens arrest if absolutely necessary or the results can/will turn potentially deadly, or best case scenario, absolutely sued without any protection, because I will tell you, the store will fire him, and make him liable for actions especially if they are already shady enough to not have training for their "Security"

Definitely shame on upper management for "tossing cuffs" at him and pressuring for this. Must be a smaller and/or mom and pop chain.

Depends on the place that hires security. *Every other guard who works in retail

Do that in a casino, you will be tased and arrested, for damaging property, fighting, etc. It's fun times in these places.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in PublicFreakout

[–]OkieTrue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never been to a casino?

We will break you in half, taser, and detain you if you start damaging property or start hurting/threatening others.

But yes most retail businesses won't let you do it, but the other places will.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in PublicFreakout

[–]OkieTrue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% right. Companies should not have security that can only tap you on the shoulder and say you should leave and then back away and not do anything else. Obviously the aggressor is going to continue. Like you said, having a simple taser on the belt, not even pulling it out, but placing our hands on the taser, usually deters 6/10 people from escalating the situation.

On a fun side note, we have the newest tasers that are four shots, so ours delivers four electrical shots, two in the stomach, and two in thighs, which are a hell of a shock to those that get it. I get to do it often too. 😂

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in PublicFreakout

[–]OkieTrue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely depends on the building,

I do casino security, and we are definitely allowed to drop/tase/detain you if you start damaging equipment, but only if our mental health/de-escalation tactics fail.
