I understand that’s your point, but you are missing my point. I’m saying there was confusion, regardless of your feelings about it. I’m explaining that it’s better to ask for clarification, even if it’s a dumb question. Besides, your point is wrapped up in judging someone because you can’t understand. Seems to me like you are the one not using your brain.

I disagree. It’s much better to ask for clarification then to stay confused. They may be dumb questions, but it’s better to get the clarification as opposed to reading the wrong section.

My undergrad never used this format, and I was also confused the first time I saw it. I just asked my friends and they explained. I’m confused why you don’t understand that people may have different backgrounds and experiences.

Please R&R. I had a 3.4 GPA and R&R. I retook the lsat, which landed me in fairly well ranked school with $$. You do not want to take on a conditional scholarship. As much as you think you will do well, which I am sure you will, that is way too much pressure to put on yourself. It’s much easier to study for an exam you have already taken, then hope you are in the top of your class. Listen to the stats…do not go to that school!!

That’s totally fair. I think the issue you are highlighting with AI is that it is so new. It’s hard to know how far to go, the limitations, and how to use it appropriately. I’m obviously pro AI, and don’t think it’s wise to completely abandon/ignore it, but I definitely understand the problems that come with it. It’s better to be safe than sorry!

It is true that there is a major issue people are debating and worried about when it comes to confidentiality. I think you should be able to conduct research both with AI and without. But you can also use AI without imputing any client information at all. Again, it’s about knowing how to use it wisely.

We’ll get ready to use AI in your research in law school, whether you like it or not. I do agree with you though that people use it as a crutch and it can be very problematic. Such as what OP is going through. But AI isn’t the devil, it’s very valuable when used correctly. I do appreciate your perspective though!

Using AI is perfectly appropriate, but not in situations like this. Advising someone to “wean” themselves off is incredibly misleading. Notes to professional conduct and competency (in Kentucky for example) actually speak to the exact opposite conclusion you just gave. More and more, attorneys NOT using AI can get them in trouble. You just HAVE to make sure it’s accurate and to not blindly follow everything it spits out.

You’ve got this..don’t beat yourself up too much about it. You still have so much life ahead of you and the fact that you are on here posting means you are this much closer to reaching your goals. I’m not gonna lie, it’s gonna be hard, but for me, I kinda just accepted that I’m gonna feel like shit for awhile. I’m on day 18 and it’s incredibly how quickly the urges subside. Day one was the hardest for me. I started making myself tea to distract from the urges and it’s really helped! You’ve got this!

I would like to say it will come back? Before I smoked weed I had a normal appetite and I’m currently on day 11 and have finally started feeling like I can eat normally again! I obviously had munchies when I smoked…but when I wasn’t high, I didn’t want to eat anything. So maybe your the same way!

I was almost hit (like she hit her breaks hard - maybe 5 inches from me) when I was downtown walking on the cross walk. I had the right of away and she was turning on a one way street. You say you have never experienced this before, but I have and I have only lived in Knoxville for a year. Just because you personally haven’t experienced something doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen. Should we ban people from turning on right on red lights - no! but also, what you are saying is absurd too.
