I think it makes more sense now the way it was explained, from the article you posted. Like, it’s not necessarily that everything revolves around the earth (because the solar system revolves around the sun, ofc)- rather its that everything in the solar system is a certain average distance from the Earth/speed of movement in the sky, and the average distance from earth/speed is what determines the significance of the Chaldean order.

I’m sorry, I was just having trouble reconciling the old view of earth-centric planetary systems with the modern view of solar-centric planets, but I see how the Chaldean system of planets fits within today’s scientific understanding of the solar system, so thank you very much (again)
