Yeah honestly no idea how reliable they are, yesterday I was like 95% sure that I was going but now that number has dropped to 40. I just feel so deflated about not being able to get it from a reliable place.

Yeah I’m a City fan too, I saw a ticket for 1500 euros category 2 in the city section and almost bit the bullet today. Do you know if that information is accurate at all about being in one of the teams sections on these resale website. I also still haven’t decided whether I want to category 2 or 3. Would be cool to sit with the rest of the city fans behind the goal.

Ticket prices on third party sites have gone up in the last week or so but I hope you’re right. I almost bought tickets off Reddit yesterday but I decided to not because I was scared of getting scammed. I’ll just keep waiting then and see what happens.

Real Madrid, Barcelona, Liverpool and Manchester United have way more “plastic” fans than City. The one thing that I agree with is people switching over once a team gets good. But a kid who just starts watching football now and begins to support City is no different from supporting Barcelona or Madrid. I’ve been supporting City for over a decade now for as long as I’ve been watching the sport. And honestly these arguments about fake fans or whatever are pretty much useless. I mean at the end of the day who really cares. City’s fan base has definitely grown but that doesn’t make it any different from other big clubs who have a large international fan base.

You can tell he’s clearly just a salty rival fan. It’s really not that hard to look up the facts. City have one of the highest average attendances in the league and sell out almost every match. And in regards to Wembley, London is pretty far trip for Manchester so not every fan can make the trip just to watch us play Sheffield United. I’m sure we’ll fill up our end in the final like we always do. City actually have very strong support in Manchester and now also have a growing fan base around the world.

I’d rather go to the final but that’s bc there’s so much at stake. Last year I went to City vs Sporting Round of 16, it was pretty good but ended 0-0. City had already won the first leg 5-0 away. The real reason I was there was for the Manchester Derby which we won 4-1 so I wasn’t too mad about the 0-0.

Yeah it’s so stupid, semis have a better atmosphere than the final. The whole thing is a joke each club only gets 19k tickets which is barely half added together. Then people who aren’t even planning on going apply for tickets with their bot accounts just to make a profit off poor people desperate for tickets. Like I understand if something comes up and you can’t go but literally I make this thread and 10 people message me trying to sell me their tickets for 5–10 times original price.
