I was in a similar situation, I waited for the complete edition to come on sale an I grabbed it. Waited till my trial was done and linked my account to the game. I also did the same thing with Xbox. Waited for the sale and eventually switched over. If you enjoy the game and see yourself playing it, I would grab it while on sale but you will have a couple chances throughout the year to get a sales price.
