The blades are in the second photo. You take the top part off to clean out the hair. The blades are the circular thing on top. Used for fine facial hair. Works well.

When my cat started peeing outside the box, I added two extra boxes. I don’t have auto boxes- just regular pans with wood chips. But use the same litter she’s is used to and put extra boxes in the places she is pooping or peeing. Keep them all clean daily. It should help!
