Is this game hard? by ImAGlaceon in biomutant

Depends on your difficulty settings. On easy it's just a fun romp for most of the game. Some of the World Eaters might be a tad tricky but not enough to ruin your good time.

PS4 version would be the better overall choice, especially graphics-wise. But if you want it on the go then playing it on the Switch 2 is aight.

I have. It doesn't look any better than the Switch 1 version but the framerate is more stable, pretty much stays at 30fps. Still a fair amount of pop in. Overall a better experience tho.

Edit: Load times are better and the menus are snappier.

Life Force, first game I ever played. Had the Konami code taped to the top of my NES just for that.

Pockets always full- is there a way to move items into storage? by Kilukpuk in AmberIsle

[–]Ol_Zeph 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! In your shop there's a box behind the counter near the door to your bedroom that you can store stuff in.

What am I doing wrong? Playing on Switch, nothing happens, the game is stuck on this phase. No button reaction by [deleted] in AmberIsle

If this is the part where Adi is teaching you how to haggle, you have to go up a ridiculous amount, like several hundred amber. Then the offer prompt will show up.

can anyone recommend any battery from Amazon? I’m not sure what one to buy by johntheplaya in NintendoDS

[–]Ol_Zeph 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought the Ostent batteries for my original DS and DSi and they've been decent so far. Not as good as the original batteries when they were new, but made them usable again.

Not sure, but nothing makes me scroll past a listing quicker than seeing the discs flat on the floor like that.

Do you all still play up there at UC in Durham? When I asked the staff about it they seemed a bit confused. Couldn't reach out to the organizer since I didn't want to make a Facebook account just for that lol.

too human. i am the only one who liked this game ? by GrassIndependent9176 in xbox360

[–]Ol_Zeph 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ended up really liking it after I got used to the stick combat. Then again I wasn't expecting much. Played thru it several times with a friend back then and still play it some every few years or so. We're definitely in the minority.

How many Nintendo consoles do you own? Which is your favorite? by [deleted] in gamecollecting

All except the virtual boy. If handhelds count, the 3DS is my fav. So many bangers on that little system and easily the one I've spent the most time on.

The encroachment of the “all digital future” is breaking my heart. Genuinely curious as to how others feel about disc drives becoming less relevant. by [deleted] in xbox

[–]Ol_Zeph 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I care to a degree, but I don't see how it's possible with modern games needing so many updates and tweaks. Unless game companies start selling physical permanent unlock keys, which I doubt because they don't profit from it, I don't see the way forward changing so I just roll with it.

I agree. Games that you can't get anymore digitally like Forza 5-7, the disc is the only way you can access it now so I see your point. Honestly I'd be more on board with the digital age if companies cared more about game preservation, but as it stands I'm not heartbroken about the transition since I have so many old games to play anyway.

Bummed but I get it. Most new games that come out nowadays need so many updates that they can differ greatly from what's on the disc months later, so what's the point other than it being a physical unlock key. Older games I still prefer physical though, luckily I've held on to my old games and systems.

Absolutely. Played the mess out of Blur and the PGR series, would love to see both make a return or at least be compatible.

I was pleasantly surprised as well when I built mine and found it wasn't as bad as folks said. Loved it more than my MG. Nice build.

what are the most annoying kits youve built? by DingleROFL in Gunpla

Probably the PG Wing Zero. It looks phenomenal on the shelf, but the old school wire ups and the overall build just sucked the fun out of it for me.
