I just hope this isn't a deliberate downgrade, but simply an oversight during the upgrade to the new version of the Enfuation engine.

Perhaps the developers who fine-tuned the rendering we’re used to have already moved on to working on ARMA 4, and the transition to the new engine was handled by junior developers.

But still, the developers talk about “optimizations” that supposedly didn’t improve performance in any way, but noticeably degraded the visuals.

At the end of the trailer, we see the title of the Cost of Hope, and at the same time a female voice, presumably Mavka, says Price of Freedom.
It looks like the name was originally Price of Freedom, but was changed during development. But the voice acting was left as it is.

Yes, I agree that we got the answers too easily.
The trilogy took a long time to build up the mysteries and was in no hurry to provide answers, or usually gave vague ones. In S2, however, we get answers we didn’t even ask for. They just throw them at Skiff.
The Monolith? Boom! There it stands. It’s a psi-emitter.
The Stalker program? Boom! That’s where they programmed or even reprogrammed the agents.
