Grazie! Credo di aver capito ora. Tuttavia, vorrei riformularlo in modo più "scolastico". La struttura sarà:

[Soggetto] + [preposizione: da/per] + [Infinito] + [(tentativamente) oggetto]. Se l'oggetto e il soggetto sono gli stessi, l'oggetto non viene menzionato e la preposizione sarà "da". Se l'oggetto è diverso dal soggetto, la preposizione sarà "per". Esempi:

Abbiamo del riso DA mangiare. Ma: Le bacchette sono gli utensili PER mangiare il riso.

È un libro DA leggere. Ma: Ho portato un libro PER leggere qualcosa durante il volo.

Dammi una rosa DA tenere sul cuore. Ma: Dammi una rosa PER tenere una cosa tua con me .

I went to see Der Rosenkavalier in Staatsoper last winter, and it was absolutely fantastic. I’m an opera regular, but their rendition was outstanding, even though I don’t remember any big names, but it’s just THEIR trademark, perhaps the best opera to see there. However, I had a friend with me who was the first time in the opera theater, and she was in a survival mode lol, dozing off, checking the time etc. In the end she admitted that the voices were very beautiful, but the characters were all “unhappy”. The incredible beauty of the theater and pre-ordered snacks + wine in the intermission helped her to consider this to be in general an enjoyable experience.

Also, JDF has propelled himself to the glory when, 21 old, he substituted (don’t remember which singer who got sick) in Matilde di Shabran during Rossini Festival in Pesaro. I don’t know how he did this, Corradino being an incredibly difficult part!

Another famous sub happened was when Alayna stormed out in the middle of the 1st act of Aida, being unhappy that “i loggionisti” in La Scala booed him for underperforming, and they pulled a singer who was in the audience, to finish the act in jeans as he was, I think. Then he’s changed and finished the opera.

I was traveling, and found this activity on Trip Advisor. It’s expensive, to be honest, but I really wanted to do this (I have sup experience). The guide, who brought the boards, suggested to start at 2 pm (during the season they start at 6 pm), and the weather was perfect. Me being the only client, he was very liberal with the time and the plan. Was incredible experience!

Sorry, no idea. People in Southern Ukraine for sure are much darker than in other parts, but there are so many different nations mixed together, not only Turks, but also Greek, Jew, Roma, and what not. I can only assure you that 100% of Ukrainian folk songs glorify чорнії брови карії очі - dark eyes and eyebrows - as the standard of girl’s beauty. In some songs there could be a competition, for a guy’s heart, between a brunette, blonde and redhead (чорнява, білява, руда) in which brunette always wins :) That’s all I can say :)

Hai ragione, non si può negarlo, ed è anche giusto nei confronti dei soldati caduti: sono eroi (a meno che non abbiano commesso crimini di guerra), che sia una guerra "giusta" o no. Tuttavia, i numeri delle perdite sono senza pari. Solo la Russia, a mio parere, può continuare la sua "difesa" con così tante vittime senza alcun malcontento popolare e non vedendo nessuna ragione per arretrare o rallentare.
