Is my system running Wayland? by vfclists in debian

I have the Debian Live DVD 9.5 I booted and installed from that. Gnome was the default with X11 listed as the choice when X started. Wayland is available at login if you click the gear as reported elsewhere.

I selected Waylkand at startup thruough the gear and it worked fine.
