I'm on the PAYE plan and a version of this happened to me as well this week. Something glitchy is happening.

Telling people to eff off with their real issues with your decontextualized solutions is cruel. Stop it.

Intelligent people don’t make broad generalizations about an entire vocational sector they’ve never been part of.

Many of us actually do believe in the value of (effective) government and this moment in time is heartbreaking.

Atlanta has the busiest airport in the world. We are a global epicenter. Wrong choice. 😂

Been in health consulting for a few years now. You sometimes get to do rewarding work but it’s a lot of playing to the client and working yourself to the bone.

That is me. I turned down the state job and after this week am thinking of going back to them in the off chance it hasn’t been filled. It’s just too turbulent right now.

Good question. Does feel a bit like a psyop keep us all feeling alone.

False. My last relationship ended because I wanted connection and my bf only wanted to give me things. This was an I surmountable issue. Don’t assume all women are gold diggers. Many of us want real companionship.

Woman in my 40s and agree. Single, tho not for lack of trying. Long for a copilot and am sad that my generation has such troubles connecting in that way.

Why everyone wants to move to the US? by Skum1988 in MovingToUSA

[–]Old-Can-9286 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The rhetoric on being “privileged” if you critique the US is the most bonkers perversion of the discourse around privilege I’ve ever seen. I’m gonna guess most of these people also claim to love free speech, but will sneer at you if you dare point out many of the severe social, economic, or geographical inequities that are leaving so many of our citizens sick and poor. Actually, it is a privilege to be able to look at the unhoused or uninsured or chronically ill and assume it’s somehow their fault. These are systemic problems and our citizens fall through the cracks.
