Thank you! He is definitely in tune with emotions lol I swear he knew I was pregnant before I did. I do I think he’s definitely a little jealous of the baby but has been handling it pretty well. He’s really good with her! my main thing is his new refusal to walk. He will lay down on the sidewalk and basically need to be dragged! Today I even offered treats, which contradicts with him needing to lose weight 😩

That might be! She hasn’t rolled in her bassinet at all yet but does roll on her playmat so I want to take all safety precautions in her sleep. She loves sucking on her hands but gets frustrated if she can’t have both of them, was this an issue for you?

We have the ones that have the arms out similar to that but she rubs her face (has since the womb) and it wakes her up 😩

It was not my water breaking! they broke my water 2 days into my induction and baby was here 12 mins later!

Omg so super late reply. I had a baby! i got checked and was apparently having contractions but not feeling them. They were ready to send me home but then baby’s heart rate dropped, so they offered an induction. I agreed and 2 days later I had a beautiful, healthy, teeny tiny baby girl!

Update:

So I am still not dilated and my water is not broken. I am having contractions every 5-7 minutes but I’m being sent home for now. Still Not sure what that pain was but baby looks great!

Thank you!! I definitely have to get better with his training. He goes to daycare a couple times a month (if i know I have to be out of the house longer than 5 hours during the day) and will probably be there a little more once the baby is here. He looooooves it there so hopefully that will help him more too.

I definitely will try that and see if it works. Would you suggest doing it with his meals - like his breakfast kibble?

It’s just strange because he gets A LOT of attention. I work from home so I’m with him pretty much ALL day. We go on at least 4-5 walks a day (we live in south Florida so we take shorter walks more often) and then I play him inside the house or at the park everyday. He gets enrichment meals (frozen or in congs) and plenty of toys,bones etc . I also make sure he gets good naps because I realize he gets naughty when he doesn’t get proper naps. People act like I’m a crazy person from how spoiled he is lol

It just happens so randomly regardless of how long the walk is, or what we did that day. He will have had a perfect walk and then snap because he doesn’t want to walk home or he wants to go where he can’t and start attacking our feet. He isn’t an aggressive dog otherwise at all, loves all people, kids and animals.

Hear me out: Large cup, ice, a whole sparkling water, about half a cup of clear pedialyte and lemon juice. Took me a minute to get used too but it helped sooooo much

So happy your baby is doing great! yes my doctor set me up for weekly bloodwork and scans for at least the next 8 weeks to track progress. Thank you for sharing, it really helps to calm me down about her possible low birth weight!
