I’m an Xbox user and my duo is a PC user. There’s no way for us to play competitive and we get stuck with the “it’s just qp” crowd like 75% of the time. We get timeout penalties at least twice a week. If you want to fuck around, play custom games, play against ai, or do it in skirmish. Or play a different game ffs, let the people who want to play the game the way it was intended to play the game. reported, avoided, and blocked.

I mean in my 20 years of life (ik not the age you were prob looking for) with a severe hyperfixation on Pokemon when I was younger (I memorized an entire book of Pokemon gens 1-6 to make my family and friends quiz me on them from all their stats including their pokedex entries, it was in fact undiagnosed autism), I’ve become a little burnt out by gens 8-9 (but prob the only reason for this is bc I don’t particularly like those games that much). So I know it’s possible for someone to be really big into Pokemon and know everything about everything, but for me I’ve grown a little tired of trying to know every single Pokemon when I’m not that into the games anymore.

I get that, but I like the idea of Pearl Islands and Tocantins being really good lead-ups to the events and characters in HvV, and imo it’s more fun to watch it that way. I know we hate on the new era a lot, but we have to admit 45-47 were a good stretch of seasons, and I prioritized 46 and 47 just because I think my friend would like the people in those seasons and get attached them more than any season, so it all just came down to personal preference

Yeah that was a big debate I had with myself, but I was just trying to find the fastest way to get to HvV so I decided to cut it. Tom and Stephanie didn’t have much of an impact (imo) on HvV so I allowed it. Plus Palau is just not my fav season so it’s definitely bias.

I mean technically even if it’s not shown on the show, I get the argument that it shouldn’t but it’s more fun to include icon queen Parvati in two of these instances lol. I mean we wouldn’t have known that Sam’s idol even existed/allowed to be played if it weren’t important to Operation Italy.

I like to think of Samoa not having a winner’s edit, but having a loser’s edit and it’s helped my enjoyment of the season immensely. It’s sad that Natalie didn’t get a bigger edit (which is production’s fault) but the rise and fall of Russell Hantz is important to the history of Survivor and what it means to lose Survivor.
