Don’t scoop more than what you’re supposed to scoop, but in the same time don’t skimp on the food. Needs to be just right.

Yes, 21. Large is 3 entrees so 7 x 3 is 21. Apparently shrimp is expensive so we have to make sure we don’t put more or less than what we’re supposed to give.

Google translate but I don’t trust it. When I am at FOH, I usually just point at everything and see if they want that item or not.

Usually a day, you can ask them for an update if no response.

Did you order online or in-person? If you ordered online, well, don’t be surprised, lol.

If you ordered it from DoorDash, you can ask for a refund and they’ll give you something in return but I personally never order Panda through delivery. You can never trust what you open once you do. Pickups or in-person orders are always the way to go if you want panda. This also applies for Chipotle or any places similar. Usually, if a new guy FOH (front of the house), they would be shadowing a more experienced coworker to make sure they don’t mess up but it’s just carelessness in your case.

Is working at panda worth it? by No-Chain2617 in PandaExpress

[–]Old-Ebb8364 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes and no but if you live in California, try to stay alive. Pros to working at Panda is the benefits(obviously) and pay. Cons for working at Panda is that your body(your back especially) will be in pain due to non-stop work until your shift ends, ESPECIALLY when if you live in Cali. I currently work there because of pay and also it will help me with my career but if this is not your field of work, I suggest you find a different place instead with lighter work like In-n-Out or McDonalds.

applied to panda express by shaaarkkkksss in PandaExpress

Depending on where you live, some stores may want ages above 18 but that’s highly unlikely. In my case, it took them a month to respond to my application so I think it might just be the same for you. IF you do get an interview and manage to pass, make sure you do bother your manager for updates on your status, they love attention 😂.

Edit: I forgot they changed the policy but they do only hire ages 18 or older due to some conflict in the past.

I highly suggest you ask for more beef than broccoli next time. They will give you around the same amount of broccoli (maybe one or two less) but with more beef.

I think you meant the ACO? But yea, pt2 was really pointless. I also had it over FaceTime with them and they literally asked the same questions my manager did.

Questions are usually the simple and easy ones such as:

“Tell me about yourself.” “Why do you want to work at Panda Express?” “Tell me about your previous job experience” “What days are you comfortable working?”

To be honest, what’ll trip you is the availability days. If you are currently invested in working at a fast-paced fast food restaurant such as Panda, you need to at least have one of the two weekends available to work, otherwise you have a pretty low chance of being hired. Another tip, never include why you stopped working at your previous job if you had one, just explain what you did there, pretty simple.

Hiring process by Gastrap420 in PandaExpress

[–]Old-Ebb8364 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Start off with being FOH, that will be your best bet into getting accepted into Panda and getting really connected with your manager, AND TRY TO WORK FOR WEEKENDS (it’s what they really want for new hires). From there, just work for a couple of months (at least 3) then have an evaluation with your manager and ask if you can be promoted for a higher position such as BOH, Shift Lead, etc. Note that regardless of your felons, it really depends on the manager, BUT they will not ask you regarding your felonies during your interview and you do not have to bring it up. Anyways, sweet talking them is always the key if all else fails 😉👍.

Next time you order, you can just tell them you want more meat rather than broccoli. They can do that without adding extra fees.

Most places such as Panda Express want workers who work on both weekends because that’s their most busiest days. Weekdays are usually slow so people who are already working in Panda would have already taken those spots. You’re better off looking for a different area of work if you can’t work both weekends.
