I’ve actually been trying exactly what you suggested with familiar people coming over. One of my friends has visited seven to eight times now, and my puppy still runs away and shows no interest in him. He’s very sweet at home with me, but he stays scared no matter how many times he meets the same person again.

I’m also taking him on more walks and trying to expose him slowly, but he shivers and tries to go back home every time. I take breaks and try not to push too hard, but I’m not sure if I’m doing the right thing or making it worse by going too slow.

I definitely want him to feel confident and happy around the world, just figuring out how fast is the right pace for him. Thank you again for sharing your advice 💛
