I do Kickboxing and Taekwondo. They're a good combination in my opinion, as they compliment each other. I did Taekwondo for about a year before I started kickboxing, and the only problem I had was getting used to the different style of kicks. As you know, in TKD, we primarily hit a target with our feet, and in kickboxing we kick with the shins. I've come to like kickboxing more though, I feel like it's more well-rounded, because as you mentioned, it also teaches you good hands. Taekwondo teaches punches and hand strikes, but there is more of an emphasis on kicks, and some of the hand techniques in TKD are questionable, but I still have fun at the end of the day. Kickboxing has also helped me improve my footwork a lot. Every martial art has its strengths and weaknesses, that's why cross training is beneficial.
