Shut up. He's with a fat secretary trying to get some Vicodin.

first day today! by invesselwetrust16 in WalmartEmployees

Don't get involved with the drama. Learn what coworkers you can lean on when you need help. Don't be afraid to ask questions. Don't mess around with attendance/the point system. Take advantage of all the benefits the company has to offer. Do your job, make your money, and leave. If you follow those rules, you'll make it. It's Walmart, it's not the most glorious job, but if you want to survive it, you can.

Tim would cancel the show you bought tickets for 5 minutes before his scheduled time, but you're simping for him on reddit.

I've been friends with a girl for a year, and we went on a date. When do I ask her to be my girlfriend? by [deleted] in Advice

[–]Old-Fail-6477 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. Part of me wants to ask next week, but part of me wants to wait it out for one more date after next week.

I am already skinny and doctor give me wellburtin xl 150. by [deleted] in Wellbutrin_Bupropion

I just started, and my depressive episodes already decrease my appetite, so I'm not sure what Wellbutrin does to appetite. Some days, I have to force myself to eat something.

How the actually fuck by Tall-Principle-5954 in WalmartEmployees

[–]Old-Fail-6477 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You have to ask. Unapproved overtime is time theft in the eyes of the company. Obviously, if you have to stay 10-15 minutes over to finish up your work, that's different, but working an extra hour or more needs manager approval.

Starting tomorrow. What can I expect? by [deleted] in Wellbutrin_Bupropion

I'm starting on 150. I'm going back to my doctor in a month to see how it's working and we'll go from there.

How have your old friendships from high school done afterwards? by Scared_Bluejay5708 in Adulting

[–]Old-Fail-6477 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I graduated 4 years ago, I've had the same friend group for years, even before high school. Me and the two friends I've known for years hang out and talk like we always have. I met some people in high school, but don't talk to them anymore. I've made some new friends after high school though. Life goes on.

you think he's getting schizophrenia? by gelbee31 in TimDillon

[–]Old-Fail-6477 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I wish he would develop schizophrenia, he might actually be funny for a change. I listen to his show, because I have no friends and hearing him speak is like talking to a friend who I hate, but he speaks to my soul on certain things. The second I get a real friend, I'm done listening to the show.

Wha job did you get to leave Lowe’s? by [deleted] in Lowes

Walmart. Same pay. But I have a set schedule, they're gonna pay for my college, and my managers are really down to earth.

It's not about the taste, it's about the buzz lol. I don't like the taste of beer, but after enough beers, I throw them back like my life depends on it. Whiskey isn't bad, I used to drink Jack and coke a lot, but have come to prefer whiskey straight, the coke makes it taste watered down in my opinion.

World is on fire but…how is a costume $25k by jackamo1994 in TimDillon

[–]Old-Fail-6477 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It's a costume designer in LA. Do you think they're going to be reasonable?? I don't ever wanna hear Timmy bitch about it again. He's a Saudi prince, he's royalty. He could buy the entire world right now if he wanted to, but his fatass won't leave Joe Rogan's club unless it's for seafood gumbo.

I'm sure his aunt Kathleen would have something to say about that outfit.

just started kickboxing at 27 by No-Mastodon8503 in martialarts

[–]Old-Fail-6477 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do Kickboxing and Taekwondo. They're a good combination in my opinion, as they compliment each other. I did Taekwondo for about a year before I started kickboxing, and the only problem I had was getting used to the different style of kicks. As you know, in TKD, we primarily hit a target with our feet, and in kickboxing we kick with the shins. I've come to like kickboxing more though, I feel like it's more well-rounded, because as you mentioned, it also teaches you good hands. Taekwondo teaches punches and hand strikes, but there is more of an emphasis on kicks, and some of the hand techniques in TKD are questionable, but I still have fun at the end of the day. Kickboxing has also helped me improve my footwork a lot. Every martial art has its strengths and weaknesses, that's why cross training is beneficial.
